>>Their staduim is in one of the most desolate areas of the metroplex.<<

You apparantly haven't seen much, if any, of the metroplex. The stadium is located about a mile and a half from Las Colinas, and only about a half mile or so from the "new" restraunt row in Dallas, off Loop 12 and Northwest Highway.

I will admit the IMMEDIATE (within an eighth of a mile) area surrounging the parking lot is a little desolate. Of course, that could be because it is surrounded by 3 freeways and a river.

Lone Star Park in Grand Prarie is in just as desolate area as Texas Stadium. To some extent, so is the Ballpark in Arlington, though the latter isn't surrounded by highways. That's the difference.

I stand by my statement. The stadium in a desolate area. ...about a mile and a half...only about a half a mile or so... That might as well be Pluto when you're in that area to see a game or concert. There's nothing there. Once you park you're at the mercy of stadium vendors for any food or drink, unless you're tailgatin'
