Brokaw said Kerry is hoping this response to Bush will make the morning papers. Steal some of Bush's thunder..that's what it's all about.
KERRY FIGHTS BACK!
You know, it's one thing for Zell Miller to give a tough speech as he did - it's quite another for a presidential candidate to do so. He may end up sounding like Howard Dean more than anything else. If he goes over the top, it will not help him. The media will think it helps him until they see the polls down the line. President Bush's speech of tonight will stand in stark contrast. The media is so in the tank for kerry that they cannot see the forest for the trees.
Someone here is using that as a tag line.
Turn on c-span right after this tonight and it will replay. He was on with Dorthy Hamil. Right at the beginning. And it will probably replay again on c-span tomorrow.

I am sure that the MSM will be more than happy to help kerry out tonight and talk all day tommorrow about what a great speech he gave.
That is what hate does, it blinds people to reality.
He would not even know what those were.
