No...only music so far has been a terrific rendition of the National Anthem.
Why don't you just change channels?
You've had your hands full, Jackie-O.
I'm looking forward to Zell Miller tonight; the sound of DNC heads falling to the floor should be heard around the nation.
I noticed the darkness behind him as he spoke today. It was creepy.
God bless you. I missed most of the 2000 convention, too. My mother died the day after President Bush's acceptance speech. I remember watching Cheney's speech in 2000 - and I remember I was eating waffles while I watched it.
This year, no waffles for me.
"if you're living in paradise!"
You must have been there. It is unbelievable.
So, does anyone think there will be any distractions like there were this morning? I pray that there will be no disruptions, but you never know. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.
Does anyone know if most of the Florida delegation went home due to the storm?
I heard an announcement on FNC that delegates were told, in keeping with the RNC philosophy of personal responsibility, it was their decision.
Yeah, I read his after-action report of the near riot. Great stuff.
Nevada Lt. Governor is doing pretty well. Talking about protecting our children.
Yes! Zell Miller isn't only one that has this view, he just is most prominent. Ed Koch too. Many mayors have endorsed Bush, for instance the new mayor of St Paul, Randy Kelly, a democrat. Ron Silver might fit this description as well. I don't think he is a republican. Then you also have other people like Dennis Miller that have left the party.
Why is it many Democrats are breaking ranks and supporting Bush, but none the other way around? That should be the question the media asks, but nope. They try to blame Zell Miller for wanting to be popular, yet he is not running for re-election. That kills the argument. He just wants to be on the right side.
Excellent report!
Next up: Brian Sandoval, Nevada Attorney General. Speaking of the importance of family and keeping children safe from harm.
(I just happened to have the window opened to post to you--appropriate as you just gave a great example of what he means)
How'd the bet go?
Distraction this morning? Please fill me in.
I may go down tomorrow.
See you at the inauguration? :-)
Oh my! As I say, I stay on CSPAN with occasional surfing to see what's happening. Russert on MSNBC looks so sad...
LOL!
We spent 10 days there and only scratched the surface. We can't wait to return. It truly is paradise.
I saw Zell Miller's speech from the DNC at the 1992
convention, for clintoon.
MSNBC....what's on the tip of Tim Russsert's nose?
Cause I want to see what rest of America sees. People that don't tune into FNC or C-SPAN.
