I watched the Bush and Kerry American Legion speeches.

GWB was warmly received and got laughs and much applause.

Kerry's appearance was weird, darkened atmosphere, tight shot on his face only until toward the end. Very sparse and anemic applause. At the end the group that was on the stage did not make any moves to go shake his hand. I would be very interested to hear if some did turn their backs on him.

Romney is fighting hard for marriage. Have to give him credit, given the opposition he faces in MASS

Tom Delay: There is no Israeli/Palestinian conflict. There is only a global war on terror.

I'm not thinking of 2008. Cross that bridge when we come to it. The idea is to get President Bush's second administration to re-conservatize America and liberalism will fall by the wayside. Think local when you vote. :o)

Nope. I shook his hand once, before the Olympics. Does that count?

And I think I met his daughter once.
