Liberals/Commies don't have much of a sense of humor anyways.
Look at what happened to Ann Coulter with USA Today.

As other posters have written, Fox was trashing them also. I was just cringing when they spoke; it was pretty bad. I wish someone had reviewed their routine before they got up there.
But the Fox group didn't seem too impressed with Laura's speech either. I thought she was great. But surprisingly, the MSNBC group (Martthews, Andrea Mitchell, Meacham from Newsweek, J.C. Watts and Scarborough) seemed to have glowing reviews about Mrs. Bush's speech. Well praise God for that!!!

They're a couple of kids, they got up and spoke on behalf of their father, and they'll remember that fondly for the rest of their lives. Who cares if they were polished politicos?
For my money, the Kerry daughters were just fine too, it's just a pity flash photography was off-limits :)

Big deal if the twins didn't have the stage presence of Arnold or Rudy. I don't think it's the twins that we're electing anyway. Folks like Wolf Blitzer and others are really digging in the gutter to focus on two girls who are just doing this for their daddy!

I thought the ladies were a bit tasteless....
National TV, they could have done better...
I figure they were there so people could take a break before Laura arrived...
Shouldn't hurt, but sure didn't help.
Arnold, now, best Political speech I've heard in years...maybe since Reagan. Awesome speech.

My point is that we can't complain about the media doing what many Freepers did, and have done.

they are focusing on anything they can to take away from Arnold's impact.

I thought the Bush daughters did very well. And they are very attractive.

Yer absolutely correct about the twins! The OLD pundits thought the Kerry girls were "serious" etc. The Bush twins spoke like kids. They are kids. If kids were listening, I'm guessing they might be able to understand what they said!!!!

Well the Barb-Jenna speech *was* kinda lame. I think lotsa people just need to lighten up a little. Yeesh... I for one wouldn't have wanted to follow Arnold. That's a tough act to follow.
I thought they were light hearted, cute, and showed that they really loved their parents. They weren't there to make strong foreign policy. They weren't there to blast the crowd with oratory. They were there to be cute and to introduce their dad and their mom. They done good. Relax a little, people... :-)

Don't get me wrong - I'm ecstatic about this convention and I think it is serving its purpose to boost the President - Big Time.
The speeches are far from being the boring, careful, canned presentations that one would expect.

FYI, another FR threat with some well intentioned but critical comments about the Bush Twins was cross posted on DU. Let's not give those idiots any ammunition. Loose lips, etc.

But they did a better job than Ron Jr did at his dad's conventions.
If this is the worse 'scandal' in the party this week, we are in good shape.

Hey, the girls had to follow Arnold! Yes, it was not great, but I did like the line about the hamster. It died!

Mara Liason thought they came across as dimwitted giggling teenagers. For once I have to agree with Mara. Those young women came across as young teens and would have been better off not exposing themselves.
On the other hand, hopefully there are a lot of young men out there who are attracted to girls who act silly and will vote for their dad.
