I am just stunned by Barnes and the rest of those saying the twins weren't helpful. Would it have been better for this President who is constantly accused of being right wing religious nut to send out two 23 year old girls acting like they were 40 somethings, droning on and on about policy or causes. They are young, they have lived anything but an average life and I was very happy to see them not take themselves too seriously. It's a tribute to their parents.
Do a googgle, after you learn to spell.
What a lot of you need to remember is that these pundits "take" don't mean a thing.
They are too close, they can't see the big picture.
Rememeber most of them loved the DNC, and it was a flop with the public, no bounce.
Judge what happens here by how if affects the American public.
Steele's on MSNBC now. He was really great tonight. And I enjoyed Silver as well. But Arnold was the highlight of the night.
That is so true. I do not think that many of these are around young people that age or they would understand them more. I love being around them. Makes me feel younger and when you are my age, that is a good thing.
Can't lump all on foxnews together PKM. Hume is doing everything he can to keep the Swifties alive. I don't think he's missed mentioning them for over a week now and assures listeners that regardless of what they've heard, this issue will not die anytime soon. I respect how he's helping their cause.
I can see where that might have worked. Have the twins first, then Laura and follow up with Arnold. Arnold could have helped people to forget what the twins said.
Ah-nold's speech so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved when he talked about his first election, and how what was coming out of the democrats mouth sounded like the socialism he had just left behind!!!
I just wished they'd have worn sexy dresses.

For crying out loud, the twins are young adults. They have been raised to live somewhat normal lives. They are not royalty, and were not raised as such. They, and especially Jenna, have some of the same fire about them that their father has, and that Mrs. Barbara Bush does, as well.

I agree...they acted like normal everyday girls. I thought it was cute and daring to even try such a venture at their age. At 23 I would have been mortified to even try and couldn't do it today at 50!!! Good for them!!!!
You bring up an excellent point. There are sports bars and they're usually packed. What we need is a political bar. A real, drive-there-in-your-car meatspace place to get together and either heckle or cheer stuff like this.

Methinks Rove just pulled a little rope a dope on the MSM. Billed as compassionate night with Arnold and Laura and all. The media covers Tuesday looking for Arnold displaying differences with Dubya. Problem is the Terminator comes out with all guns a blazing. Laura talks tough on terrorism targeting the soccer moms. Nicely covered by the MSM thank you very much…..Probably not what they were expecting.

Arnold was wonderful. I think his speech was really effective.
