I am just stunned by Barnes and the rest of those saying the twins weren't helpful. Would it have been better for this President who is constantly accused of being right wing religious nut to send out two 23 year old girls acting like they were 40 somethings, droning on and on about policy or causes. They are young, they have lived anything but an average life and I was very happy to see them not take themselves too seriously. It's a tribute to their parents.
He needs to get out of the Beltway once in awhile. And maybe the angry protestors outside the Fox studios have shaken him up.
I asked my young teenage son what he thought of the twins part of the program and he thought it was alright. (Not that he's ever watched Sex in the City - he's only 14, so can't vote yet, darnit.)

Zackley. Lot of good Amy Carter's & what's-her-name Gore's political gravitas did their fathers.
I am just stunned by Barnes and the rest...
I agree. It turns the stomach when we hear other non-left pundits like OReilly and Scarborough try to placate the liberals with looney negativism and unprincipled silence in the face of the relentless smears against common sense.
I was stunned with McCain last night when he agreed with Mark Shields of the news hour. That President Bush is responsible for the deepening divide in the electorate because of his lies about WMD. And then when asked why vote republican, he stammered and couldn't answer.
infuriating.
