Prayer Thread For My Daughter.

My Daughter is suffering from a long term illness, mental. They have reached the limit that they can do with drugs, at this point.
They are proposing that she be institutionalized, long term care. She is a vibrant young lady, whom I love as life itself. I do not wish to see her as another drugged up drone in an institution.

Little Bill,
Thanks for sharing this need with us. We will gladly join with you in praying for something good to come out of the suffering that you're both enduring. It must be painful. I'm very sorry.

Hang in there Bill, assess and re assess I have been there many times with my son who Drs do not want to further treat complications due to being severely physically disabled as a quadroplegic with manic (gene from me, mom).
If you can no longer care for her than that is a dicision between you and God.
Do not allow "proffesionals" to push you into a decision.
Alot of folks are having flare ups around here lately it seems with coping with mental illnessess, keep up the fight.
We will keep up the prayers, ok.
I do not know all your details, but go with what YOU know is best.
We constantly fight the "world" in that I should turn my back on my son and get a new life. I say NO this is what I have done for 25yrs and dispite the rough days usaully brought on by outsiders I perservere because in my heart and stubborn soul it is what I choose to do and truly believe I am doing God's will.
Hang bud get some rest, a few days of turning off the phone and the world and just careproviding and resting can renew ones ability to cope.
If at all possible get some respite care so you can take a long walk or a days drive away from the situation.
God Bless

Prayer is all for the good, but get your daughter to an MD who has an understanding of and uses nutritional remedies. They are hard to find, but the Life Extension website is a good place to start. American medicine has an institutional bias against and blindness as to nutritional and herbal remedies, despite their effectiveness. I know from personal experience that such remedies can work wonders against medical problems for which standard medicine has no good answers.

Prayers to you, your family and your daughter. He can work miracles and we've evidenced that here on FR. You are not being prideful asking us to help....we truly enjoy it.

The problem that she faces is that she is a charity patient, she was separated from her husband who defaulted on her insurance payments. I have been purchasing her drugs, but the stuff they are recommending is out of my league.
Some pharmaceutical companies have special programs for people who desperately need their medication(s) but have zero income. Contact your daughter's doctors, especially psychiatrist. If they are not aware of the program, freepmail me the name of the medication(s) and I'll do some research. I know of a couple of other programs but they don't come readily to mind. In the meantime, prayers for your daughter and your family and it is no Sin of Pride to ask a brother or sister for help. <><

You know what I found for myself "arthritis/old back fractures" was one of those grabbers so I can pick things up off the floor. It is soooo painful to bend somedays and I do therapy swim ect...now I have gone through 2 of them and have 2 new grabbers.
What a wonderful lil tool. I pick up after the puppies toys and constantly drop stuff in caring for Chris all the do dads that pack sterile equipment and I can't stand a messy working arena so I have my grabbers on each side of the house one in Chris area and on it the kitchen.
Best pain relief I ever tried. : )

So I have surrendered to God, a higher power, and say "Thy will be done. Not my will, but Thy will. Amen."
Amen, CobaltBlue. That's the first step each of us should take but usually it's the last step we take. In between, there is so much heartache.

If you have no insurance, this is why you need to get in touch with a research program.
Excellent idea.
