I honestly think Alan Keyes is different from your average pandering politician.
I agree that Keyes is a man of integrity, but I do not share your optimism.
Politics is a weird form of parasitism, like they say, politics = poly ticks!
They NEED to convince us that WE NEED THEM.
Given that scenario, if they did their job, they would be out of work. So they NEED crisis. They NEED unending warfare. They NEED unemployment and social disorder.
Just my take on things. I haven't voted in years.
