If it turns out that there was communication from the cockpit indicating some mechanical problem or something in the minutes before the crashes, then this could be a really remarkable coincidence.

If there wasn't, and these planes simply had a sudden catastrophic event, then you have to assume that it was a terrorist event. Two airlines, same departure airport, crashing without warning in different parts of the country? Planes don't generally crash without warning unless a mid-air collision is involved.

In your rush to crucify him, you seemed to have forgotten two crucial facts:

1) On 9/11, we knew some sort of plane hit Tower 1, and then we watched a second plane hit Tower 2 - making it virtually impossible to be anything but an intentional act by hostiles

2) We don't even know for sure that two planes have gone down in Russia. What we know thus far is that it looks like one plane crashed, and Russian air traffic control believes it has lost contact with another plane. There may not even be a second plane and, assuming there is, we don't know if anything bad has actually happened to it.

I was being quite nice until certain people went off the deep end like they do every time I say that we should wait until more facts come in before saying a crash is terrorism. Too many people here want to think that every freaking crash is terrorism.

I never said it was NOT terrorism but that we should wait for more facts before assuming what the truth is.

Yes, you probably know more about aviation than most here, but if there is a second plane, then this no longer has anything to do with aviation. With the known facts, this story is now about logic, statistics, and probabilities. You are not giving anyone confidence about your proficiency in those disciplines.
