I saw Matthews and Oliphant...Oliphant said the stories on atrocities were true...Kerry was only telling the truth-brave Kerry. I just have a feeling/I can't really explain it. I think that Kerry can't distance himself from the 1971 testimony so he is going to be portrayed as a brave truth teller against the government, but not the vet...we are all victims of Vietnam barf on the way. I heard a number of Dems in different venues who said that atrocities were committed by the US in Vietnam. Calley's name was brought up a couple of times. I have no proof I can offer because I didn't write down which shows I saw this stuff on (political junky)-just an unsubstantiated opinion. LOL

Agreed. I've been predicting since he won the primaries that the only way he could resurrect the Vietnam era, pro-Commie Revolution era was to reconstitute the pop-culture "wisdom" of the 70's and early 80's that ALL Vietnam veterans are victims of a corrupt gubmit and thus not entirely to blame for the atrocities that corrupt gubmint made them commit.

In other words, his only chance of success is to compound his own crimes.

But a good observation nonetheless. Thanks for the info.
