XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX TUE AUG 24, 2004 11:09:31 ET XXXXX

KERRY PHONES SWIFT BOAT FOES

**Exclsuive**

Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry personally phoned anti-Kerry swift boat vets, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Kerry reached out to Robert "Friar Tuck" Brant Cdr., USN (RET) Sunday night, just hours after former Sen. Bob Dole publicly challenged Kerry to apologize to veterans.

Brant was skipper of the #96 and # 36 boat and spent time with Kerry in Anm Thoi. Kerry and Brant slept in the same quarters, and Brant used to put Kerry back to be at night when Kerry was sleepwalking.

Brant received a call from Kerry at his home in Virginia while he was watching the Olympics on TV.

The call lasted 10 minutes, sources tell DRUDGE.

KERRY: "Why are all these swift boat guys opposed to me?"

BRANT: "You should know what you said when you came back, the impact it had on the young sailors and how it was disrespectful of our guys that were killed over there.

[Brant had two men killed in battle.]

KERRY: "When we dedicated swift boat one in '92, I said to all the swift guys that I wasn't talking about the swifties, I was talking about all the rest of the veterans."

Kerry then asked if he could meet Brant -- man to man -- face to face.

Brant declined the invite, explaining that Kerry was obviously not prepared to correct the record on exactly what happened during Vietnam and what happened when Kerry came back.

I'd surmise I'm slightly older than you..I'm 56..if we had FOX news, talk radio, and the internet in 1964..Goldwater would have beaten LBJ.

Not a chance. See my posts about self-hypnosis and Kerry. In Kerry's case he has hypnotized himself into losing this election because of extreme self-loathing. In Goldwater's case he knew he couldn't win the election (in large part due to the fact that the public didn't want another changeover so soon after the JFK assasination) so he programmed himself to lose. As proof is Goldwater's convention speech about "extremism." Dumb choice of words since he was being called an extremist. Therefore he did everything he could do to lose by a landslide. Read accounts of the Goldwater campaign. He basically just relaxed and had a good time since he knew he would lose and programmed himself to lose.

"He actually thinks this helps him? I'm sure he'll flip around and tell the other veterans, 'oh, I didn't mean you guys. I meant all those other guys.' "

Kerry forgets that "all those other guys" have their OWN organization. It's called Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry.

It appears Kerry may suffer from a MENTAL DISORDER known as Somnambulism

From:
http://www.vnh.org/Admin/MSCMedManual/Chapter5.html#5.7

Mental Disorders.

1. Drug Addiction. Physiological or psychological addiction, untreated or treatment failure. Refer to ACMO for final determination.

2. Use of Prescription Drugs. Being under the influence of an unprescribed narcotic, barbiturate, amphetamine, hallucinogen or alcohol at the time of examination.

3. Use of Controlled Substances. Having used an unprescribed controlled substance, Schedule 1 or 2, other than marijuana within the preceding year.

4. Substance Abuse. Having a pattern of using a drug or chemical substance, including marijuana or alcohol.

5. Current Use of Prescribed Medications. Current use of or need to use the following medications.

1. Methadone. Methadone or a related drug.

2. Antabuse. Disulfiram (Antabuse) or a related drug (evaluation on a case-by- case basis).

6. Medical Conditions Requiring Mood Modifiers. Any diagnosis requiring the continued use of any of the following medications.

1. Neuroleptic Drugs. Phenothiazines, butyrophenones and related drugs.

2. Antidepressants. Tricyclics, MAO inhibitors, lithium and related drugs.

3. Antianxiety Drugs. Barbiturates, benzodiazepines and related drugs.

4. Psychotropic Drugs. Any psychotropic drugs.

7. Lost Time Due to Psychiatric Illness. Any lost time due to psychiatric illness shall be considered disqualifying unless adequate documentation supports the transient and nonrecurrent nature of the illness.

8. Affective Disorders. History of schizophrenic or major affective disorder or psychotic disorder.

9. Somnambulism. Sleepwalking after age 12.

So should Kerry, who may be suffering form a MENTAL Disorder be qualified to be President of The United States fo America?

The United States Military disqualifies a person if they sleepwalk and seperates them form service...

IE: I believe Kerry should be disqualified as running for Commander in Chief if he is not able to LEGALLY serve.

Further:
http://www.af.mil/band/info/medical.asp

OFFICIAL United States Air Force website

Borderline Disqualification. The military entrance processing station medical officer normally gives the motivated applicant every chance to qualify despite a borderline or technical disqualification; however, there are many conditions where there is no way to authorize enlistment."

Psychiatric:

* Any psychosis at any time (typically schizophrenia or manic-depressive psychosis).
* Psychoneurosis if it requires hospitalization or caused loss of more than a week's time.
* Personality disorders--manifested by:
* Sleepwalking or eating disorders that are habitual or persistent, occurring beyond age 12.

This Psychiatric MENTAL DISORDER needs tro be specifically addressed by John Kerry..

The People have a right to know if a Candidate is UNFIT for Command as Commander in Chief or President if he may have a DIAGNOSED Mental Disorder....

Observations, discussion....

As well as another Disorder:

Narcissistic Personality Disorder.... Hmmm... An explanation

From:
http://www.mentalhealth.com/dis1/p21-pe07.html

Diagnostic Criteria

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
6. is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
8. is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
9. shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

Differential Diagnosis

Histrionic Personality Disorder; Antisocial Personality Disorder; Borderline Personality Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder; Schizotypal Personality Disorder; Paranoid Personality Disorder; Manic Episodes; Hypomanic Episodes; Personality Change Due to a General Medical Condition; symptoms that may develop in association with chronic substance use.

I'd say that IMHO, this may POSSIBLY explain Kerry's actions as an individual and may be worth checking into...

Perhaps we can get some help for him...

This is just my opinion, and it may be wrong, but this is the way I see it...

Here is a site for self-diagnosis...

Maybe Kerry can confirm this or not?

http://www.mentalhealth.com/dx/dx-pe07.html

Treatment possibilities are here:
http://www.mentalhealth.com/rx/p23-pe07.html

Don't worry Kerry,

"Help is on the way"

Thoughts observations, am I full of bunk when I came across this?

Regards,
Joe

Joe

"Who is going to be the first one over to DU"

Cordially suggest that you give it a pass. I gave them a look this morning and the level of their posts is both slanderous and libelous, and in my layman's opinion legally actionable.

They are making statements about Bob Dole and Laura Bush that are so beyond the pale that I do truly believe that some of them have gone insane.

"Sleepwalkers generally get a medical discharge from the military."

Sometimes. However, I wonder if he has always had a problem with vivid dreaming...full color dreams that sometimes seem more real than reality. Most sleepwalkers suffer from it. The condition is quite rare.

I was 15..my first political campaign..and handing out Goldwater literature in the Bronx back then was nearly a suicide mission...do you rememebr the "Daisy" commercial...it was devastating..the campaign never recovered from it..alternative media..the net..would have enabled us to deflect the message..however, I will agree that I should rephrase my staement to "could have won" from "would have won"..BTW...remember the first issue of Natioal Review after the election?...it's lead story..was one word.."arrrrgh!"

You're kidding? What did you see to make you believe this? I can't imagine him being that stoopid. Well, then again........

Am I to infer here that Kerry is telling Brant that "all that stuff I said about attrocities was about other soldiers--not you guys!"

Exactly. That was my first thought.

Shove it, John Kerry!

"Is that undiscovered shrapnel, or did Kerry just blow his foot clean off?"

More like he's gnawing it off like a coyote in a leg trap.

Kerry forgets that he's one of the swift boat vets he allegedly didn't accuse of war crimes, though he has admitted to committing them.

It proves his fellow officers' contention that Kerry was NEVER a part of the team, that he was ALWAYS in it just for himself.

Or that he was with them before he was against them before he was with them before he was one of them but against some of them before he was for them but apparantly not for himself as one of them....

What would be interesting to see would be if anyone from the Kerry campaign has called the FEC to ask that specific question. I'm sure someone from the DNC, smelling blood in the water would already have called.

"That's over 2 million of honorable men he's called that he continues to call baby killers and rapist."

There, fixed it for you. I share your sentiments. And know of no veteran who committed the atrocities that Kerry claims. And I know a LOT of them. In fact, over the last 30 years I've never met anyone who knows a Vietnam veteran who committed such atrocities and I make a point of asking to this day. They were widespread only in Kerry's twisted little mind.

"I said to all the swift guys that I wasn't talking about the swifties, I was talking about all the rest of the veterans."

That worthless bag of pus! My Dad, who did 36 months in Vietnam (three FULL tours), my high school ROTC teacher, a lawyer friend of mine, two of my university professors, many of my instructors in the Air Force, and a ton of my friends' dads went to Vietnam, did FULL tours (HEY! Terry McAwful! Twenty-three weeks aggregate....that includes the FIVE WEEKS the U.S.S. Gridley was in the Gulf of Tonkin...does NOT constitute two tours in Vietnam, you lying Dhimmicrat piece of $hit!), and did NOT rape, pillage and behave like a squad of drunken Waffen SS on Hitler's birthday!

Kerry is unfit to even LIVE in this country, let alone be President!
