I thought 527's couldn't play ads after Sept 2?

If that's true, not only is McKeating/Feingold unconstitutional, it is criminal.

Political speech is the precise speech the Founding Fathers were protecting when they wrote the First Amendment.

They weren't protecting pornography.

I agree with you that McCain/Feingold is both unconstitutional and criminal. That's why I intent to violate that law deliberately, and tell the FEC to "Come and get me," just prior to the 2 November election.

Where have you been? Did you not know what CFR was? I certainly hope you didn't think it was anything but a way to allow the networks to control the election!

Imagine if they had a 60-day moratorium on pornography before an election. Somehow, I bet the Supreme Court would have found THAT unconstitutional...
