Swifty October Surprise For Kerry
To The Point ^ | August 2004 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 08/22/2004 3:06:46 PM PDT by Presto

Main excerpt: " However… in the famous words of Al Jolson: “You ain’t heard nothin’ yet.” The Swiftees have prepared an October Surprise for Hanoi John that is going to blow his candidacy out of the water. I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you the television and radio ads have already been taped, and they are going to have an impact like an elephant sitting on a donkey.

The Swiftees have three things in abundance: money, brains, and balls. They know exactly how to go for the jugular, they have the dough to do it, and they are saving their best shot for last. The Democrats will not know what hit them and will not know how to retaliate. Get set folks. The Kerry Train Wreck is not going to be a pretty sight. "

I detest McCain-Feingold. It severely restricts what I consider to be "free speech". Have a hard time with GWB signing it.

If you are a true conservative, there should be a lot of things that Bush did that you should have a hard time with. McCain-Feingold for sure but how about the Medicare drug benefit and promising to sign a renewal of the assault weapons ban if congress passes it? Then there is the violation of due process with the "enemy combatants".

I used to consider myself a conservative, but since Bush got into office, I do not know what the word means anymore. If the word has changed so much that it permits and condones all those things, then I am not a conservative anymore. I sure ain't a liberal either.

Guess that makes me and all freedom lovers libertarians unless you know a better word.

"I hope it's something so fantastic that John Edwards sues the Kerry-Edwards Campaign for defamation of character."

Shouldn't that read "definition" of character??

Made a contribution yesterday and will try an get them some more...we don't want these guys going into battle without the proper equipment ie: "..actually I did vote for the 87 billion dollars...before I voted against it..."

Yeppers, I agree with that!

How about film of Kerry and his VVAW brethren including Jane Fonda, Ramsey Clark, and the CP. Kerry's testimony before the Senate should have some interesting vingettes and top it off with a visit to the Hall of Heroes in Ho Chi Minh City to see Kerry's picture hanging in a place of honor.

"Thanks...I'll send them a financial token of my appreciation. If ten million of us only sent them $50 each, then they would have $500,000,000.00 to take out Kerry with."

I have sent my $50 with a little extra for postage. I hope the Swiftees can get enough donations to do the job right. The thought of sKerry as Commander-in-Chief of the United States Military is disgusting to me. He voted against supporting our troops in Iraq one of only 12 senators out of 100 to vote no. His running mate also voted no.

There's been a lot of confusion over what the campaign finance reform law actually does or does not say, so: FULL TEXT OF CFR (also known as BCRA, and "McCain-Feingold").

And here is a page of links to various letters and documents from/to the FEC and congresscritters, hammering out the exact language of the FEC rules which attempt to put into effect the CFR law.

Looks like Kerry's best strategery might be coming clean about what's about to be shown, admit he lied about the details of a bunch of things, and try to turn it into a "I have seen the light" kind of thing that might draw sympathy.

Don't be suprised if this is the last hail mary from the Kerry Kamp, if this new Swifty documentary is as damning as it is said to be.

Anyway, who gives a crap about unconstitutional laws that no longer apply 20 miles off the coast of California?

RADIO FREE AMERICA!!!!

Perhaps the Russians can save us from these communist in DC that bar free speech. I hope the Russians or the KGB can infultrate the neo communist and shut them down.... I never new McCain was a Manchurian candidate....

Go get him, Swiftees!

I am glad that I am not supporting Bush. If I was, and the best campaign issue I could come up with was questioning the details of Kerry's combat medals while my guy wasn't even there, I would feel pretty foolish.

If this is the big campaign issue, then the libertarian assertion that there is no substantive difference between them is valid and the only possible candidate to vote for is Badnarik.

You are not wasting a vote when you refuse to choose between two evil candidates.

The Swifties are not the only game in town. However, the combined barrage coming at Kerry this October will result not only in his defeat in the Presidential election, it will lead to investigations resulting demands for his resignation from the Senate.

I told you, he will wish he never ran for President when this election is over.

There will be a way around the restrictions on 527's. Thre has to be There always is.

What I am looking for is a little definitive data on the subject. The 60 day restriction looks bad on the face of it but I can't believe that we are just going to stand by and let George Soros spend his millions to bash Bush with our hands tied.

Is there anything that would restrict Fox News, for example from running a Swiftboad ad as a part of their regular programming that would be restricted by McCain-Feingod? As in Sean Hannity: "Here is that ad that McCain and Feingold don't want you to see." Is there any doubt that the lib networks will do just that for their side?

Looks like Kerry's best strategery might be coming clean about what's about to be shown, admit he lied about the details of a bunch of things, and try to turn it into a "I have seen the light" kind of thing that might draw sympathy.

That would result in Democrats demanding that he step aside for Edwards. It could actually happen that the Dems might pull another Torricelli in October. There is NO WAY that Kerry is going to be President, and when the Dems figure that out in a few weeks, they might kick Kerry to the curb anyway.

You don't understand what this does, perhaps?

The Swifties just threw a hand grenade into the middle of the Kerry high command, with a timed detonator on it. Don't fool yourselves. Kerry's staff people just read this same report. Now they will start askign themselves what the Boss is hiding from them. It may reach up to Shrum, McCurry, and the other members of the inner circle. O'Neill let this out for a reason. He knows how Kerry thinks, and he wants Lurch to look over his shoulder. He is also trying to ignite a media frenzy.

Look for more stuff about an October Surprise as the Republican National Convention gets underway. Bush and Rove will keep at arms length. The Rats are idiots to suppose that Karl Rove had his hand in all this. Bush's people never needed to get involved: motivated conservatives don't need direction from the White House.

This is going to be fun.

No offense, but you sound kind of bitter. It may be that you didn't lose that election just because you only spent $55.

Just burn the documentary on a cd as a VCD

It will play in over 90% of dvd players and
cost you about a nickle a copy if you buy the
cd's in bulk...

Then get em into the hands of everyone in the swing
states :-)

Freepers could pass em out easily... how many freepers we got
in the swing states??

When the docu comes out someone make a iso disk image of
the video burned as a vcd...then everyone start making copies... label em "Farhenheit 527 --the temp at which cowards burn --DVD"
