Ouija board (from French "oui" and German "Ja").

So when the French and the Germans finally collaborate they come up with something from the dark side.

footage from the marathon where the one woman pooped herself after she "hit the wall" and staggered toward the finish line.

For real? I've not seen any of the O'pics.

This was a number of years ago. IIRC, she was leading by a large amount of time, but after she "hit the wall" and started staggering, the second place women ran across the finish line ahead of her.

Yeah-Gretch-I was informed of that a few posts below my goof...just DANG! (Did you hear Sean talking about Kerry's book-'the new soldier'...the one that shows a mockery of our troops on the front and has our American flag hangin upside down? PATHETIC!)

That spot, which implies that the Bush campaign is behind the Swift Boat ads, is designed to make it appear that McCain is bashing Bush. McCain heads Bush's re-election bid in Arizona and has asked Kerry not to use him in the Democratic ads.

Thanks GretchenM, I had not heard that McCain had asked kerry not to use him in democrat ads. Did he also ask him to stop using him in 527 ads?

Sorry I doubled up on the book info -- after I posted I saw that others were quick to elucidate.

Love your fervor for the cause!

I need to get transcripts for "This Week" and "Face the Nation" starting 8/22/04 for a college student. Can you tell me where to find them or if they're available?

I found transcripts for "Meet the Press" on their home page.
