Of course McCain is with the Vets. He may be a "maverick" but I'm getting the feeling a lot of the old Vietnam pain is coming back to him. For my $0.02 psychobabble moment, McCain tried to put a lot of this behind him for "closure" but you can only keep something repressed before it comes out.
From your lips to God's ears.
I agree. Tour of Duty gave them Kerry's account of events, which didn't jibe with theirs. When they compared notes, they realized that they had been duped. I will say however, that they still may have come out just because of Kerry's antiwar activities and slander of them.
Amazing dynamic...
unbalanced = balance
Thank you all so much for the comments and quotes. As you might imagine, not one of these shows is available here in southern Africa.
Dale Carnegie's "Rule of 30"...
I know a number of NPR listeners who get almost all their news from NPR and the NYT. They are very intellegent and think that they really have a view of the world. They don't know 1/10 of what people here know. Somehow that market needs to be broken into.
And, why, kerry will not publically give permission to the Chairman of the Intelligence committee to FULLY release his attendance records at the meetings-both pre-and post-9/11.
WHY? Why Senator, WHY?
IT is also interesting that no one in the press surrounding kerry has the balls to ask kerry about thw following horrific episode during his trash America period after he returned from Vietnam (where talk of assassination was debated):
Kerry's Campaign Asked A [Disabled] Veteran To Change Story - KC Meeting At Issue
New York Sun | March 22, 2004 | Thomas H. Lipscomb
Brit advised Juan to read today's Washington Post article "end to end." That is the strongest slapdown I heve yet seen between those two.
Brit: Juan, when you leave here today, go home and read the Post article from start to finish. If you still believe...
LOL!
They keep Juan as the perfect "useful idiot". He can always be counted on to give them perfect setups for grand statements to show the stupidity of the left. He probably gets bonuses for his performances. Later in the bar, Bill and Brit toast him for his great performance that day.
Well gee, Rood wasn't on the boat with Kerry, was he? How can he possibly speak to what Kerry did or did not do, according to democrat "logic."
I doubt seriously that Dubya would be booed. They said the Americans would be booed and they got a thunderous ovation in the opening day ceremonies.
We have to learn not to believe everything we read in the papers.
If he comes ot and condemns the Kerry ad, he KNOWS the Dems will open the door on HIS war record....McInsane knows that Bush wold NOT do that.
Hey, Mccain, this is what you wrought with your stupid Campagn Fiance Reform.....George Soros will CHOOSE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT.
Love your tagline. Welcome to FR.
Yea, but Lieberman really side stepped the issue of Kerry's flip flop on withdrawing troops from Europe.
He didn't answer the question Wallace asked. At least Chris Wallace quoted Kerry's words and made the Flip flop clear
Has anyone heard from McCain about him being in the Kerry ads? I wonder what his office is saying...
