Absolutely right on. "Bravo Zulu"

I am getting on un years now; and I usually laugh at the stories I hear about the old duffers getting upset enough to literally shoot their TV units.

Well, last night, it was a good thing my Mauser is in my strong box in the den. *S*

Matthews had better not come within spitting distance of my turf. The rednecks out here would make mincemeat out of him without ever missing a step into the local VFW !!

Cheers.

I agree. As I read "Unfit For Command," I was more enraged by what Kerry did after he returned than his shanigans in Vietnam.

"These leftists have a thing about telling people to go kill themselves."

My experience is leftists have a thing about telling people to go kill other people.

Remember Alec Baldwin saying Henry Hyde, his wife and kids should be stoned to death? Or the Dem party down here in FL taking out an ad that Rumsfeld should be shot with a gun?

Like Rush calls them, "The coalition of the wild-eyed".

As if the way she was treated wasn't bad enough, Michelle is attractive and popular, Keith, you guys aren't.

This ad is hard-hitting and effective.
Kerry can't dispute his own words, if given wide-spread play will be devastating. I wish they had led their campaign with this ad, along with a picture of Kerry that is in the N. Vietnam museum if indeed that is the case.
Bush just needs to come out with a statement that this election isn't about what he or Kerry did or didn't do thirty plus years ago, but by what they are doing now and will do in the next 4 years to protect America. He hereby distances himself from what the Dems are portraying as a personal attack of lies (it doesn't matter that it isn't) yet will do nothing to silence the Vets for Truth.
Then show Kerry's efforts to limit the military and intelligence gathering. Show again his being absent from all the Senate Intelligence committee meetings in the wake of 911. '
Let us hope the American people are more intelligent than they were by giving us Clinton for 8 years.....and don't you know Hillary is orgasmic (is that possible) over Kerry's ongoing difficulty with the truth brought to light by those who witnessed his actions and his subsequent embellishments and lies for political gain.

Does 0.5 mean you have 25 viewers, of which 24 hate you?

It means he has a larger family than McEnroe. Actually I suspect even Olbermann's family hates him so maybe not.

---I was absolutely furious at that POS Kerry. ---

And Kerry who used his freedom of speech then, now wants to cut off the speech of others!

she was much better informed about the Swifties than the host was

I find that with local radio hosts also. Freepers are way ahead of the hosts.

Do your homework people! Sheesh.

I have not researched the size or tendencies of cable viewers but with the multitude of viewing choices out there, methinks these guys at the mid-to-bottom rungs are pretty much preaching to empty pews and/or empty heads.

Quality creates loyalty and draws crowds if its really good.

Most of the stuff is schlock, imo..

What's the DNC reaction to this whole thing? They've started attacking Bush's Guard service again! It's like a circular firing squad.

The only reason that it is 0.5 is because of the Olympics. NBC has been advertising MSNBC heavily. Normally, he gets 0.3 ratings. Plus O'Reilly is on vacation this week.

I don't think Matthews came off better than Malkin, but it sounded as though she hadn't done her homework. When he started hammering her with his did-Kerry-shoot-himself chant, she floundered and didn't even get out that Kerry had never been shot period. And she never clarified that Kerry's self-inflicted wounds weren't deliberate or that his after-action reports turned ricochets/blowback into purple heart material. Granted, he didn't give her a lot of time, but she just kept responding with something like "I'm just telling you what the book says".

Matthews looked as though he were about to explode, which didn't look good, but Malkin was overwhlemed by his bulldozing tactics. Hopefully she'll be better prepared for the next apoplectic host and shine as she usually does.

My question is why hadn't Matthews done his homework? It didn't seem as though he'd read the book...big surprise, huh?

"I was more enraged by what Kerry did after he returned "

Me too. He was one of the driving forces in undermining our war effort, and most importantly our resolve. I remember hearing about an interview with a KGB agent, he laughed and said Kerry was merely repeating propaganda they had introduced when he testified before Congress.
