All you newbies whose screen number is over 100,000 (plus infinity, or minus a couple thousand), this thread is for you. What's it like to be 'new' here? Are you welcomed? What do you think of FR? Do you feel 'part of the gang'? This thread is for you. Lay it on us.
I once spelled "stupid" wrong on the forum.
I knew of from I spoke.. :)
We win with function, not form!
Indianapolis?
I have a number? LOL! Where would that be?
Old.
OMG! You have a better memory than I do!
Thanks for remembering. I've often sat here and wondered about my initial Freep days, thinking about my clod-footed debut! *L*
It obviously wasn't too bad! :-)
I lurked 6 months before signing up. If you think newbies are treated harshly now heaven forbid what you would have thought in the early days. No one dared post an article within the first 6 months of registering. Respectfully #5177
Your tagline says a LOT. How true it is. He's proving it more every day.
I'm old too, but 2:00 PM is my naptime.
Try playing the lottery!
Muttly heartily welcomes all, from everywhere...and of all species, including his own....which is questionable...they say the Australian marsupial dog is extinct...so it shows what THEY know!
Anyway, Muttly's comment on the significance of the Member Number can be found in his Tag Line below...:
I think you're 10 hours off (or you live in another time zone). It's just after 11 PM here. Had a lousy night sleeping last night. See ya! Keep an eye on our 'friend'. Goodnight.
131196. Fall out!
Where is our Polish friend?
Yep Indy. I'm in Seoul, Korea. It is 1:15 PM here.
Would you mind finding my number? I feel like a doufus; but, I followed your directions and I don't see a number there. Thanks, (hunkered down with my body armor on to protect me from all the wise cracks).

Hey, this is off topic, but you just reminded me about the World Cup in 2002. Were you there then, and did you get to go to any of the games?
I have been here for a long time it seems....I learned what computer skills I have (somewhat limited) because I wanted to post and communicate with peole around here...I have even had to learn to type(badly)....it is a lot like shouting in a crowd, you never know if someone is listening or not....I have leaned not to worry about it all ...sometimes people respond and sometimes not
Are you in the military?
