Can Kerry makea case that Bush broke the law? [They're losin' it... THEY'RE LOSIN' IT!]

WASHINGTON - Can Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry prove his allegation that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group airing ads denigrating his service as a Navy officer in Vietnam, are nothing more than "a front for the Bush campaign"? In one sense, that may be an immaterial question if voters decide that the group is part of an overall anti-Kerry strategy that is approved or assented to by President Bush or his campaign aides.

It seems like he's taking the advice of a 17 year old. Seriously, this is such a sophmoric move that I can hardly believe it.

Reminds me a bit of the British (golf) Open a few years ago, when the guy was leading by several strokes and he decided to go for the green, twice, from a hazard. IIRC, the second time, he was in the water hazard. He lost because of those poor decisions. Kerry is going to lose, partly because of these poor decisions.

Even the Baron von Munchhausen, would blush,if he heard Kerry's embellishments and lies.

The Baron, when there was a radio show using the book, would say, when someone challenged his story,: " WERE YOU THERE CHARLEY?" Well, the Swiftees WERE there!

Dean is beginning to look like the sane one.

Neal Boortz asked a rhetorical question on his show a few days ago...

Do you democrats wish you had picked Edwards yet?

Dean is beginning to look like the sane one.

If the Dems had picked Dean, this election would be about Iraq. If they had picked Lieberman, this election would be about domestic issues. Instead, they once again selected a narcissistic pathological liar interested only in his own ego and own power - and the Dems are stuck once again doing non-stop damage control to counter Kerry's lies and Kerry's past.

I'm actually starting to get the feeling that some of the MSM types, the more sane ones, are getting sick of this nonsense.

We'll soon see if he's holding a 2 and a 3 or an Ace-King. My money's on the 2-3

In heads up play a 2-3 is worth seeing the flop. Your already in the pot so its gonna be free or cheap.

A 2-7 unsuited is the worst hand possible. I think Kerry has a 2-7 suited and only got a 3rd suiter on the flop, needing two running cards to make his flush. Or, in statistical terms, he is a 10-1 underdog.

This has nothing to do with the thread, but just now on Fox they showed film of Kerry in Florida today touring hurricane damange. He said, "What you see here is inspirational. And I am inspired by it."

What does that mean?

Just saw the snearing Ted Devine on Fox and heard yet a new version of the Cambodia story. Now it seems kerry was 40 miles from Cambodia and by the time the day was over had been ambushed 3 times. Whether or not he ended up in Cambodia was never made clear. What is clear is the Lt(jg) John F. Munchausen can't keep from embellishing the story.

That ws the date of his first purple heart.

Kerry has NEVER released the December and January sitreps despite his generic claims that his "Navy records" are available at his website.

Part of his Genghis Khan fantasy. HIs hero.

I think the locals would rather see Jimmy Carter...

The hurricane damage is inspirational to Kerry because it looks a lot better than his campaign right now.

I agree with your description of those hands, but I think Kerry has a mediocre hand that could be turned into a winner. But this "All In" that he's declared by filing an official complaint with the FEC is insane. He's going to lose now, unless he's gotten some evidence falsified. That's his only hope, as it always has been.

What does that mean?

It means he is praying and hoping that a national disaster, perpetrated by al queaida comes along to save his sorry ass... something he can blam on bush.

but even if it did... it wont work.
rally around the president in a time of war or tragedy... is a law of physics.

kerry's internal poll numbers must be looking like shit.
too good, so let's hope he keeps on protesting... the more he does, the more america sees, notices and thinks: "no thanks arsehole".

That is truly bizarre.

(Off subject: On your Home Page you say that among your hobbies are your boxers. You might consider make it more clear you're refering to your dogs. At least I hope that's what you were referring to, and not your, ahem, boxers. LOL.)

he's not

the polls were cooked by the media to keep him afloat... and now they are tanking so bad, no amount of cooking can cover up the wreck.

How about a case against Kerry for overstepping his authority in asking the feds to pull the ads? Or how about the vets or Bush suing his sorry rear for bringing false allegations?

Moveon.org isn't associated with him in any way, shape, or form, huh?

No wait, this is good. It is put up or shut up time. If Bush is behind the Swifties, he is violating campaign financing laws. In effect, Kerry is alleging that his opponent has violated the law. If you level such a charge, you had better be able to back it up. If he can't, then he should shut the F#&k up.

Well, don't look for a copy at the Barnes & Noble in far west Houston. They don't carry it.
