Mine came in the mail today...But all three of the books stores visited in the last few days were out....One had a sign posted "Our #1 best seller (picture of book jacket) is currently out of stock, please ask to sign our list so we can notify you when it is in"

TO make the story short I got into it with another customer a "RAT" who got a little testy over what "Those Republican" we're doing....

I told her at least one of the authors was a democrat and she might also enjoy reading Zell Miller's book or Dick Morris's books......She left in a huff!

I had to go out of town shortly after this broke....Helping my parents move & computer not up all the time(dial-up). The only news I have been able to catch is MSM. YUCK!!!

Heard about the FEC, Roods Column. Watching MSM, I am depressed. Is it bad or is it spin? Are the Vets gaining or losing support?

Anything to make me feel good?

"Wow! I can't wait to hear John McCain's comments. Those were his prison-mates in the ad."

One of the former POWs in the ad, Paul Galanti, was captivity for seven years. He was an active leader in McCain's 2000 primary campaign.

Galanti has courageously parted ways with McCain on this one.

IMO, Since McCain is actively working for Bush he must distance himself from the Swift Boat actions. Just as Bush must protest ALL 527 (bringing attention to those attacking him) and not single out one (which would be against the law).

Thank you so much....am back home with my trusty dsl.

Your link got me thru --especially after getting 10 stitches in my knee. (fell down the front steps while carrying 2 hunting rifles from my mother's house to the car--Thank God my cousin's husband had checked them all after my grandfather died--that could have been a BIG Ouch! for someone).

Heard on Fox from Rich saying he is "puzzled" as to what Kerry is talking about when he says speakers at convention questioned his patriotism.

Kerry is losing it.

I watched a little of Kerry's speech. I was first struck by how dorky he looked standing behind Edwards. I heard him accuse the GOP of questioning his patriotism. Sometimes the applause seemed lukewarm, other times it was quite loud.

I also caught a couple of other lies right off the bat. It's early and my brain is not yet working so I can't remember what those lies were. I do seem to remember they were a misrepresentation of the convention.

He did say he served 2 Tours of Duty. It has been discussed before, but could someone explain that again please?

From the little I saw, I realize that he is going to fight dirty. I am apprehensive about this election. We should never underestimate his desire to be in the Oval Office. He has planned for this. In his mind, this is his destiny. He will do whatever it takes and that scares me.

Swiftees, I hope you have what it takes to finally expose this POS for what he is."

I noticed that too. Once again he's not telling the whole story. He served in 2 commands. He served on a FFG (which operated in the Gulf of Tonkin) then 4 months on the swift boats. Heck why doesn't he say he served 3 - he was an Admiral's aide before he got out and backstabbed his shipmates.

Did he talk about his Senate record? I didn't think so.

I remember what else...He blamed President Bush of doing nothing while the situation in Iran worsened.

And he blamed President Bush for the nuclear proliferation in North Korea. He said North Korea has " 3, 4, 5, 6, " (maybe not the exact numbers he used) nuclear weapons. He laid the situation in North Korea at Bush's feet. No mention of bubba's screw-up.

Once again went to the "misled us" routine in Iraq.

He didn't talk about much of anything. He just kept repeating himself over and over and over. If that's the best he's got he should just hang it up now.

He sounds like a lunatic. He is obviously not as smart as some say he is. Dejavu, Hillary.
