EMPIRE STRIKES BACK AGAINST ANTI-KERRY VETS
More than 3 weeks after the DRUDGE REPORT began shooting up flares warning of an impending campaign battle surrounding former Vietnam veterans who would not support John Kerry for president -- the media empire strikes back!
In a series of world exclusives begging in late July, this space outlined and detailed the coming book UNFIT FOR COMMAND -- a book which now sits at the top of the charts -- and the top of Friday's NY TIMES.
TIMES editor Bill Keller has reserved the lead of Page One for "the story of how swift boat veterans with a grievance were found by Republicans looking to tarnish Kerry's image," newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.
"A modern day tale of the creation of a political attack machine," declares TIMES reporter Jim Ruttenburg.
The TIMES plans to piggyback on comments made by John Kerry on Thursday against allegations that he exaggerated his combat record in Vietnam.
Kerry accused President Bush of using a Republican front group "to do his dirty work."
"Some of the veterans have recanted their stories and made charges that military records prove untrue," the TIMES explains in its 3,500-world splash, which has been previewed by DRUDGE.
Impacting late Thursday.
The last thing the MSM wanted was to turn this into a showdown, but it looks like it's headed that way.
The Dems also attacked Bush in 2000, comparing his stateside service to Al Gore's time in Vietnam.
I remember posting at the time that I remember that era, and it was no shame to get into the National Guard. Several of my male relatives served that way during Vietnam. I considered that the Dems were pukes for attacking guys with stateside service. And the Dems never learn, they keep going on the attack.
Now they're getting some of their own medicine right back.

The Times is, in its own way, as aristocratic and full of a phony sense of noblesse oblige as John Kerry.

If the lamestream lying media is successful in destroying these courageous men including the incredibly upstanding and intelligent John O'Neill and subsequently helping this COMPLETELY DELUSIONAL FRAUD John Kerry become President, this country is near death.
It will serve to prove that black is white and good is bad as long as the lamestream media says so. Part of the problem is that, unfortunately, most voters are still too indifferent, unknowing, and ignorant that the lamestream media headlines,lies, and distortions can still influence the majority of voters. I really believe that if these lamestreamers win this one for Kerry, our nation is finished. It will prove that our nation and it's propaganda machine is certainly no better than the Soviet Union's in the bad old days.
The whole thing sickens me every day. I hate liars, and there are dozens of them on CNN, NBC, ABC, SeeBS, MSNBC the NYTimes, the Wash. Post, etc. each day. And to know that those evil liars are being or could be successful makes me physically ill.
I'm 57 years old and have followed politics for over 40 years. I have NEVER ever seen a media so biased for one of the contenders. The big media influence is so outrightly evil that it would make the Founding Fathers roll over in their graves. Look at all their great sacrifices being stolen right now! It is time for some kind of a revolution. The configuration of the lamestream media can not stand!

It's a sweet thought, but truth is a LOSER way too often.

IMHO, John O'Neill is the best man I've seen come across the landscape in decades.

We all need to BUY the book immediately.
Here's the great news. For months we have been hearing about the great fund raising that the Kerry camp has been benefiting from. For months, the mainstream media has been promoting their leader of choice.
All it took was $200,000 to impale the Kerry campaign to send the whole camp into a downward spiral and outright despair over their own candidate, who excels in undermining his own position.
Which reminds me to say again.....send as much money you can afford to the Swift Boat Vets. More ads.....
I like liberal despair and pain.
