Sadr invites its militiamans to give the mausoleum of Ali in Marjaïya
The radical head Shiite Moqtada Sadr called Thursday his militiamans cut off in the mausoleum from Ali, in Najaf, to evacuate the building and to give it as soon as possible in Marjaïya, the highest authority Shiite, in a letter obtained by the AFP.
"You must give the keys of the mausoleum in Marjaïya to prevent the inaccurate ones as soon as possible from entering this holy place", affirms the letter addressed "to my dear brothers in the mausoleum of the imam Ali" and signed per M. Sadr.
"I already asked you to do it, but you refused", adds it.
It was impossible in the immediate future to check the authenticity of the letter near the office of Mr. Sadr in Najaf, shaken by intensive bombardments.
