He's carrying rice fragments in his back side.
Today he's a war hero. Tomorrow his military service will be off limits. I try not to hate these people down to the pitch-like marrow of their yellowed bones. It's hard.
MM
A piece of a fondue fork stuck in his hand to go with the silver spoon lodged under his tongue.
I thought he was hit with rice fragments?
Well, there may have been a few spots on Kerry's ass from where the doctor had to dig the rice out.
Who's Edwards talking about? Who spilled blood?
Most likely in a jar to remind him of the grat con he pulled off.
dont know about shrapnel, but his wife is like an open wound.
She could have cooked Kerrys butt into a nice rice pudding.
This is an insult to men like my father, whose bodies were peppered with shrapnel - my father, whose entire life was shadowed by the threat of paralysis from shrapnel being lodged so close to his spine.
Somebody please explain to Senator Edwards the difference between shrapnel all over your body and rice up your ass.
He must have knocked over his blood donor bag.
Didn't they remove the shrapnel with a pair of tweezers?? And I'm sure the rice in his behind has dissolved by now.(LOL..I can't believe we are discussing this)
...and did I mention all that happened in Vietnam?? or was it Cambodia?? It's seared into my mind...wait...it all happened when Kerry jumped into the water under fire to rescue one, no, FOUR drowning sailors, no, one of them was a Green Beret (who ate a cookie in the back of the boat when the mine went off)...and the rescue happened under orders from President Nixon in 1968...oh..wait...1969, or thereabouts...
He drags his ass like he's carrying.
Just when did he get that shrapnel? Christmas in Cambodia 1968--or was it 1969? Whip out those diaries and qoute us some passages.
It may not be rice - reports indicate the rice explosion may have included metal shrapnel as well. According to Kerry's medical records, the piece is 1/4 the size of a BB. They left it in because cutting to remove it would have caused more trauma than leaving it in.
Apparently Kerry does have a piece of shrapnel in his leg according to his doctor. I'm not sure from what 'engagement' - probably PH#2 since neither first (splinter he somehow managed to keep barely in his arm) nor third (the rice and possibly bruise on his arm).
Now for the rest of the story ... Kerry has claimed that the shrapnel caused him pain 'for years' - however (as reported in the Boston Herald sometime around the time when Kerry's doctor was first in the news late April or beginning of May '04) that 'shrapnel is approximately 2mmx2mm i.e. about the size of this " quote sign. It wasn't removed at the time because an incision to remove it would have caused more damage than the puncture itself.
My question is: just what sort of munition makes shrapnel so small? Kerry's booboos always seem to derive from truly miniscule shrapnel. I think the grains of rice in his a$$ were the largest things to ever hit him. If real shrapnel was truly that small, it makes sense that their numbers would be much greater (it takes an awful lot of splinters to make up one exploding munition) and one would expect several such punctures.
Kerry is full of shrap
Crooked Mega-Shyster Edwards' lips are moving and we all know what that means.
Hey Ambulance Chaser!! Why doesn't your boy release his medical records, so we can read all about the "shrapnel in his body" (there of course isn't any) and the precise amount of blood he spilled (zero, zorch, nada, goose-egg).
Should trigger airport security...but..he don't fly commercial, does he?
