This storm will probably exit around Daytona at a category 2. It won'tr be extratropical until it hits DC or Philly. very doubtful....at least according to the NWS it will reemerge as a strong tropical storm or cat 1 hurricane (officially 65kts).....and i have no reason to doubt that after 24 hrs on land.

The only thing guaranteed accurate from the NWS is the radar and the satellite imagery. If I remember correctly, they predicted a direct hit on Tampa. How 'bout we wait to see where it exits Florida?
