where, after completing his top secret super-duper-choco-peanut-nutty spy missions in Cambodia, he promptly went off to save us all, single-handed, from the dread menace of the FILTHY, STINKING MOON NAZIS

It beggers the imagination how you rightwing bushbots can come up with this ill-thought smear of a great man's character. I know for a fact he was on a secret mission in Cambodia. While he was there, he called me on his shoe phone.

I read the following section from Vice President Cheney's (codename: BigTime) speech this morning, from Dayton, OH:

(By the way, for sake of formatting, readability and emphasis, I have inserted paragraph breaks in this repost, which were not in the original White House transcript.)

We could not have succeeded in these efforts, without the help of dozens of countries around the world.

Now if you were to listen to our opponents in this election, you would think that America was fighting the war on terror all alone. Nothing could be further from the truth -- or more insulting to our allies.

"Terrorists have been killed or captured because of the efforts of our partners in Pakistan and Turkey, in Saudi Arabia, in Kenya and Malaysia. France and Germany have had troops alongside ours in Afghanistan. Great Britain, Australia, Italy, Poland, South Korea, the Ukraine, Japan and more than 20 other nations have contributed troops for the freedom of the Iraqi people.

"And as we fight the global war on terror, we have the support of Canada and Mexico, of Colombia, Jordan, and Morocco, of India, Paraguay, Denmark, the Netherlands, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Algeria, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Singapore, and Russia -- and the list of those who have joined with us in the global war on terror goes on.

"Remember this list -- and remember how long it is -- the next time you hear Senator Kerry say America does not have allies. (Applause.)

If I were a Kerry supporter, or a Deaniac, after hearing this section, I would be en route to my doctor, to have "cajones re-inflation surgery"...because that was a dead-on kick to the cashews, that VPOTUS delivered. I read this, and my mouth dropped in awe.

Call it the "Christian4Bush Echo syndrome", and I'm sure that he had it in mind to say way before now...I wish I could see it on the "tele" tonight. Between he and Dubya, "Shock and Awwww, S--t" is in full force.

It's good to see.

They're bringing out their big "protected" guns to do the sniping for Kerry...

Yep, I heard James Carville and Lanny Davis are both going after John O'Neill right now on Crossfire. And here I am away from the TV!

I don't think there is one Crypt Keeper, kinda like how at Christmas time there isn't one Santa. The Crypt-Keeping Americans are a federally-protected minority, and we will get in trouble if we keep mocking their Crypt-Keeper-ness. :)

I can see Jesse and Al on the stump now...another minority group to shakedown...errrr, protect...

"Keep Crypt-Keepers alive! Crypt-Keepers are on the way! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Lemonade! D-CON! 4-GONE!"

/extreme sarcasm, but I really don't want to end it...

"John Kerry understands peanut butter sandwiches and Kool-Aid." (Yes, Jesse, we know you guys drink THE Kool-Aid.)

"John Kerry understands oak caskets and concrete crypts."

Where was Lautenberg with this attitude when Dole was running against The 'Toon?

How much trouble does a campaign have to be in to need Lautenberg's defense? LOL ;-D

"John Kerry had enough conviction to sign up for the military during wartime, unlike the Vice President, who had a deep conviction to avoid military service," said Senator Lautenberg.

But if the war was as immoral as Kerry claimed, wasn't the decision to avoid it the more moral response? After all, neither Cheney nor Bush ever burned down a village or shot anyone in the back.

You can't have it both ways. If service was honorable, then his claims of widespread atrocities are bogus. If his claim is true that atrocities were the norm, then service there was shameful and he can't blame anyone who didn't go. They were more right than he.

cadaver Frank,

Hmm ... They've propped Lautenberg up to wheeze again, I see.

LOL, having the advantage of being self-employed, I've pretty much taken the week off to watch the cspan coverage of the RNC.

The "youth" portion this morning was great, it was inspirational for me, a semi-old guy, to watch such young conservative speakers.

If I ever get around to getting my motorcycle-accident dislocating shoulders fixed, I'd love to take on Princella Smith in a one-on-one B-Ball game.

The cspan coverage included the "downing" of the h-mo anal sex activist. during Andy Card's speech. I'm sure it will get its "reward" when it goes to jail, LOL.

The "youth" RNC coverage was followed by a RAT press conference.

Lautenberg was pathetic! They had to feed him "extra" crap to spout and the end...

NJ politics conitnues as usual. Corrupt politicians and H-moes! I want to spam an old NJ girlfriend right now, but I'm gonna wait until after the landslide...

Lautenger needs to get into an assisted living situation PRONTO, we put my Dad, "the Colonel" in one last year.

It was a difficult decision for the family, but we care about Pop, unlike the RATs who'll resurrect a cavader to the Senate.

Are the demos completly stupid. This didn't serve crap doesn't resonate with most Americans. Most Americans also didn't serve. I myself was shopping around and was about to decide to volunteer for the AF before I got a letter saying I wouln't be drafted. It was obvious no one was trying to win the war, so I didn't volunteer.
