Col. Hackworth exposed Admiral Borda. No comment on Kerry? How come?

Posted on 08/11/2004 6:59:36 AM PDT by Atlanta

It seems funny to me that the Col. has been silent on John Kerry's medal situation when in the past, he has always lead the way in exposing fraudulent medal claims such as Admiral Borda. There is nothing on his web-site, not even a scratch, concerning the current Kerry medal flap. John Kerry was in-country 4 1/2 months and won I believe the Silver Star, Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts. Just imagine, if he'd done at least a full year, if not a couple of tours in Vietnam, what his medal count would be! He could've possibly won the war for us...When you look at Hacks awards and citations and how fervent he has gone after medal frauds in the past, its unbelievable that he has become so partisan liberal, that he would'nt go after the possible grand-daddy of all medal frauds and at least comment on this. His silence on this subject is deafening.

Admiral Boorda appears to have been arcancided for not being a Clinton yes-man. Boorda's incompatibility with that administration was his integrity. The SNAFU with the medal seemed more of a Clinton-driven media attempt to tarnish the man's sterling reputation.

I believe that Boorda was the type to speak the truth, get the job done right, and then let the chips fall where they may. IOW, a sure-fire way to be marked for death in certain unsavory circles.

Boorda,as I understand it, would not go along with the sharing/joint exercises with the PLAN regarindg sensitive U.S. Naval vessels and operations.

From everything I have read, the man was a sterling U.S. patriot.

Boorda was much, much too tough to let something like that snafu get him down IMHO. Also, the way he died left a lot of questions.

He wouldn't go along with the Clinton admin's desires as regarded the sharing of potentially sensitive data and exercises with th PLAN as I understood it at the time...and then he was dead.

I don't think he has been silent.

To the best of my knowledge, he has come out against the swift vets and blasted the idea of questioning Kerry's service.

Hack is a obvious dem and has made his bed with them.

Col. Hackworth exposed Admiral Borda.

Incorrect. Boorda, along with several other flag officers, was exposed by Lt. Col. Roger Charles USMC Ret.

Hackworth is a puke but he was a late jumper onto the get Boorda bandwagon

This same commentary has been posted here before!

I also smell a rotting fish.

It seems the democrat party thinks it can so discourse among the republican base by making comments like this.

Well, I got news for you. Hackworth is a anti war soldier. He has been for sometime, and carry's little weight with us. We respect his service, but very little of his politics.

I suggest you leave this topic alone, as it is totally worn out.

Doesn't he have an email address on World Net Daily??

An outspoken and upfront guy like Hackworth would probably welcome a few emails questioning his silence and asking for his opinion.

Kerry's own website has "Secret Mission in Cambodia"

Posted on 08/11/2004 9:46:45 AM CDT by slowhand520

On kerry's own website he has the article that talks about that "secret mission" in Cambodia:

http://www.johnkerry.com/pressroom/news/news_2003_0601.html

Paragraph close to the bottom

Second issue. A FR last night said that all boats in the military has a log. Who can go out there and find the log for Kerry's boat? It must be kept by the senior officer in charge. This must be available from the military records.

Who can find it?? It will make for good reading.

good point?

That is because the Hack resents anyone who made flag rank. He considers them all "Pampered Princes of the Petagon".

Hack is a pathetic has-been who couldn't accept reality against his own opinion.

Couldn't agree more. Met him several times while deployed in Bosnia. He never impressed me as the type to commit suicide over such a trifle. Any guy who works his way up from E-1 to O-10 knows how to handle some heat. I think he probably got fed up with being treated as a lap-dog for the evil regime he was operating under. I don't know what Hackworth said about him but I have the highest respect for the man's integrity even in death. Maybe he paid the price for not "rolling over" like Hubbell.

I'm brand new to this forum. Sorry for being repetitive. I'm a newbie.. Good to know I'm not alone on this subject. Before now, I had nobody to talk to about it. I've been an admirer of Hackworth for a long time but I cannot deal with his politics anymore. As an ex-Marine myself during the Reagan years, I was familiar with Admiral Boorda, but not personally.I know he was a good man and meant no disrespect.

If Hack does'nt pursue Kerry"s medals with the same elan he did with Boorda, his last shread of credibility, with me anyway, is gone.

after his death it was determined that he did have a right to wear the medal in question.

The Navy later argued that Boorda had indeed earned the right to wear the two Valor medals.

Incorrect. Despite the Clinton/Dalton/Zumwalt/Boorda family spin to the contrary, Boorda was not and is not entitled to the Combat V device on either the Navy Achievement Medal or Navy Commendation Medal and his records confirm that. That determination was made by a unanimous vote by the Board for Corrections of the Naval Records.

He supported the most Perfumed Prince of all, Wes Clark.

Did you ever thnk he is waiting for the right moment to expose Kerry? Like right before the election with some hard evidence, like photos?
