Maybe I'm a little slow, but I just don't get this. We all know they want to go nuclear. What on earth makes them think that demanding support (or lack of interference) from the EU is going to get them anywhere? I can sort of see a "Mad Mullah" hopping on a table saying "Gimme, gimme, gimme!" while the well-dressed Europeans sit with puzzled looks on their faces, hoping he won't step in the Brie.
