The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

As a newbie to this thread we are encouraged to report things that are a little "odd". Well, I live on a private road in Central Florida. As you turn onto this drive there is a two story home that seems a little "strange". Not only is there a barricade fence all around (no big deal), but all of the windows are completely covered from the outside. Even the ones on the second floor. In other words, there could be NO ambient light on the inside. I have a two story home, but I've got blinds and drapes like a normal home. Why would one cover the only source of normal light into their home? Ideas?

There's a difference between wiring cash and smuggling. I'm not sure they're related.Not necessarily. Wire transfers are easily traced. In the pre 09.11 world, that was not really an issue because we weren't targeting the financial backbone of AQ et.al. In the post 09.11 world, tracing wire transfers and other financial transactions is a key elemement of the war on terror. Smuggling the cash is much harder to track.

Well, if they aren't painting or redecorating, they are probably up to no good. This could include drugs, as well as other criminal activities. Or maybe they work the night shift, and sleep during the day.
