Ponca City has a respectable BBQ spot called Head's Country BBQ.
Has great ribs and sliced beef sandwiches.

Yep, I've bought the sauce...it's good stuff.

VOA, I think I went to that tasty freeze in Tonkawa. It is just across from the
high school isnt it?

I know the place you are talking about across from the high school...but I can't remember the
name of the place.
The Tastee-Freeze of maybe 20 years ago was about three-four blocks to the east
of that location.

BUT, the diner with the fantastic burgers/sauce was in the downtown area
right next to the railway tracks and just across the street (north) of
the major "elevator"...the place where we dropped off harvested wheat.

I thought that was place was an orignal "Tastee-Freeze"...but now I'm gonna'
have to check with Ma and Pa to see if they recollect the actual name.

Shoot, I'm gonna' start humming "Memories" from "Cats" if I'm not careful...
