Whatever you usually think of him, tune into Savage live now!
He's spending the show (again) on getting the swiftboat vets story out there. His guest will be, for the second time, the machine gunner who served with John Kerry on his boat. Steve Gardner, I believe is his name.
Also, Savage is expressing his disappointment with Fox News, specifically O'Reilly, for spiking this story and essentially calling the veterans liars. Savage says it's because O'Reilly wants to get John Kerry on his show.

That totally sucks. I heard a little of O'Reilly's fill-in host today. Can't remember his name. He was repeating the Boston Globe story about one of the swiftboat vets recanting his story. That has been disproven!

Looks like the consensus is that it's Savage's book. Well, five bucks is five bucks. I doubt he makes much more than that in profit on his book sales.

Savage is inviting skeptics to call into the show now. He says he's not afraid of the truth. I believe him.

I am listening to Savage but will listen when Tony Snow (in for Bill O) talks about the Swift Boat Vets....will post.
We can always just donate the $ to the swift boat vets directly.
Savage back on ... first time I've listened to him in MONTHS! Gardner should be back if he wasn't booked elsewhere inbetween.
Savage says his initial position was that we shouldn't be talking about Kerry's war record. But, it was Kerry himself touting his own war record that told him "something wasn't right" and we have an obligation to get to the truth. He wants Kerry to sign form 180 to get his war records.
"The only mantra they are using is Kerry's war record." (Savage) "There is something inauthentic about it"
"Let him sign the Navy form 180 to release his records"
