I just saw Shep Smith on Fox, talking about the Swift Vets, and saying "hardly any of these guys actually served with Kerry, I mean they were in the same war..." He also has "experts" on the pro-Kerry side and no one on the other side...what's going on with Fox on this issue???
E-mail already sent.
Shep pulling an O'Reilly?
Shep better keep an eye on his hubcaps!

Some people just have that type of photgraphic memory, but it doesn't necessarily equate to intelligence. He may be able to read and memorize a Wiliam F. Buckley article, or a chapter of "Wealth of Nations", but he may not understand what he has read. I remember an episode of the Paper Chase where there was a student who had a photographic memory and could memorize every case assigned by Professor Kingsfield. However, he was unable to take the rulings in those cases and apply them to other sets of facts. He could memorize text, but he couldn't reason from analogy.
And Rassman, being in the water, didn't have the view that O'Dell had from the gun tower.
O'Reilly's been on my last nerve for over a year now!
LOL! My husband kept telling me O'Reilly was a "Big "Ole Socialist", but I kept saying give him a chance, he tries to see both sides (GAG!).
My husband was right and I have to admit it . .this is gonna cost me.
How can I help with your research?
This "not in the same boat" crap is weak. Everybody knows better than that. Just pisses me off that they'll use it to ignore the truth. Still, they've been trying to silence these guys for months and they're still a'comin.
Well, if you only flew single seat fighters, then, using Shep logic, no one else served with you, because there was never anyone else in your plane. Did you get lonely?
Ah, Kelli Ann Conway pointed out last night that a lot of the people who said Bush is the better stronger leader but they're still going to vote for Kerry are just punishing Bush for positions they don't like. They'll come around by November.
The American people aren't the smartest group sometimes, but they know when they're being fed a sh!t sandwich.
Thank goodness for the internet.
White House does NOT tell Fox what to do. What a dumb statement to make!
I think Oreily is PO'd that 1. Rush still kicks his but and 2. Hanity is far better recieved than him.
OReily HAS NO COMPETITION at his time slot. If PMSnbc had guts they would have put Rush opposite Oreily and let the market decide. Oreily has no incentive to earn his audience so he can pander to the DNC, homosexuals, and Moores. (I think the whole not come on the show thing was a sham. Oreily went to the f911 premier)
I think the big "O" is going nuts cause he really isn't getting any traction against rush on the radio. He had a good t.v. show and thought he could go for the big bucks on talk radio . So far my guess is he is stuck with the stations that could not get rush and are low on the scale number wise in most every region. He really doesn't have what it takes to go against Limbaugh every day, that's kind of a suicide mission.
Bob just flat outright lies .. and several of the good FOX hosts have caught him so many time that I just refuse to even listen to him.
Shep is now off my list .. being joined by O'Reilly and Varney.
Shep got to the top of my list when he asked a REPUBLICAN how it felt to get blamed by the 9/11 Commission for lack of proper oversight. However, I carefully noted that Shep NEVER, EVER made that same statement to ANY DEMOCRAT CONGRESSPERSON. That's just toooooo partisan for me.
Yeah, start doing genealogy research! Once you try it, you are addicted. I have nearly 2900 names in my FTM and have lots more to add. It is a fun hobby and I have received most of my information from the internet. There are some wonderful sites out there--Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, GenForum, etc. Try it!
You can get your news from FR.
The media is incompetent and lazy and if this makes them look that way, then three cheers for the Swift Boat guys.
About time the media got a shake-up.
I rember a kid like that in my first year of law school. Could memorize codes and cases but not the application. He did not make it to second year. There was a girl who could memorize who did make it, but she married the professor. (really)
Nope. His memory was average at best.
Shep Smit is homosexual? Well, golly.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, in private mind you.
I'd like to hear Shep tell that that to my wingmen and the rest of the guys in the squadron. LOL
