Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. Yes a lot of ME own shops and stores in the inner city. They are not universally liked or trusted and are often victimized by crime, even more so than the average. Yet they tend to be well entrenched in the neighborhoods.
Islam is a way for blacks in prison to survive. Sometimes it indeed "takes" for the longterm. However the levels I teach are "street" veterans. I don't care how hardcore they may be, how cold, how distant. At some level they have roots. Some have nuclear families who may not be able to control their behavior, but there is a deeply instilled (believe it or not) respect for certain family members. Mamma and GRANDmama hold some mystical "clout" over young black men. Doesn't even have to be their own mama or grandmama. What do all these mama's and grandmama's have in common for the most part? Christianity. Church is deep running river through the black community. I think they'll know the enemy when he moves and I think they'll know what to do. In any case I have no doubt that their "marching orders" will come from the Lord.
I beg to differ...The problem is not with ___/Allah/El'lah, Who is compassionate and merciful.
The problem is with those who would seek to hate and kill in His Name.

This fact answers the questions, "Why is Allah never defined in the Qur'an? Why did Muhammad assume that the pagan Arabs already knew who Allah was?" Muhammad was raised in the religion of the Moon-god Allah. But he went one step further than his fellow pagan Arabs. While they believed that Allah, i.e. the Moon-god, was the greatest of all gods and the supreme deity in a pantheon of deities, Muhammad decided that Allah was not only the greatest god but the only god.
GOD and allah are not he same.
Mother Abigail...
And the muslim "god" is NOT the same God worshipped by Christians, so please do not place any of your propaganda on this board in an attempt to sway any that don't know better.
I second this!
No, I read it so fast that I read the words right out of that post.
To use this as a segway, how is the viral thing in TX doing? I've read some more recent horror stories on TB2K.
"Allah" is merely the Arabic word for God.
The Aramaic word (like Arabic) Jesus spoke for "God" sounded much the same.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
allah is the Arabic word for moon god...Archeologists have uncovered temples to the Moon-god throughout the Middle East. From the mountains of Turkey to the banks of the Nile, the most wide-spread religion of the ancient world was the worship of the Moon-god
The muslim say they beleive in the GOD of the Jews and Christain. Then why if they are the same, would mohammad not be mention in either one.
NO> What Joe is alarmed at is an educated Christian taking issue with false propaganda aimed at making folks thing the only difference between Islam and Christianity is nomenclature.
He is also alarmed that someone saw through the islamic disguise. Joe is no Christian and neither are the few that are "defending" him from being called out on his propaganda that "we are all the same except our language."
It's a lie and the [so far 3..one is suspiciously another newbie] people that have defended him know it.
I'm glad to see the majority here have not been deceived.
Stop bringing up Captain Tripps then. :)
Good points, and I know from whence you speak. I am well-acquainted with this segment of the black community also. Most are grounded in/influenced by roots of Christianity that run deep.
The guys I'm seeing convert to Islam have either spent time in jail or have been exposed to it at the universities they attend. The latter are educated, well-read and verbose. And several of the ones I am acquainted with (we go to the same spoken-word/poetry venues) hold great sway over their audiences.
I hope and pray that it does not come to a situation where we will see who lines up with whom.
And thank you for all you do as a teacher. You are personally addressing the sad situation in many of our inner-cities:
"Too many children don't know what 4 + 5 is, but they know a nine when they see one." --from one of my favorite def poets, liszen
I'd rather assume ignorance and teach him the truth. If he won't accept it, I'll concede that there's an ulterior motive.
If he comes back after reading the provided links with a new outlook then it'd behoove us to be somewhat graceful about it. Your instincts may be right on, but a little rope won't hurt.
My instincts about ulterior motives are irrelevant compared to the hyperbole and falsities spread by the post I blasted.
I was merely correcting false propaganda, that only a non-Christian [and likely islamic] would believe.
NO need to be graceful when correcting propaganda. ;)
I am not defending him, so please don't count me as one of the 3 :)
I just don't want him to run away mad. We're a well-informed crew here, and I think we can make substantive arguments for our positions. I invite anyone to defend their stance as well. If they can't make a coherent defense, well... "the proof is in the pudding."
I readily admit I have been too "comfortable" in my Christianity, and the issue at hand has spurred me on to further study. I want to be "ready to give an answer" for what I believe. It is obvious you have spent much time in this arena, and I'm just now pulling on my armor.
By the way, the differences between Islam and Christianity aren't like apples and oranges. It's more like apples and worms.
