A new film set for release from PARAMOUNT has raised the pop culture threat levels at the White House -- a film which mocks the war on terror and media urgency using puppets, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"I really do not think terrorism is funny, and I would suggest PARAMOUNT give respect to those fighting and sacrificing to keep America safe," a senior Bush adviser told the DRUDGE REPORT this weekend.
The new fuss film TEAM AMERICA, set for release two weeks before the November presidential election, is entering post-production from with SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone
A deep voice using serious tones opens the film's teaser: "We live in a time of unparalleled danger. Weapons of Mass Destruction are being offered to terrorists all over the world. Global chaos is about to consume every country on Earth. And there is only one hope for humanity."
The senior Bush adviser, who asked not to be named, fumed after seeing the movie's official website and trailer.
"This is just unconscionable. Not funny. And I believe it makes fun of everyone in law enforcement... and in the armed services who work tirelessly to keep us safe from harm."
Marionette puppets are used throughout the film to mock terror threats, and media figures who dominate the nation's airwaves.
I have 3 young sons and they all are grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ. They have no use for this kind of tripe.
Grow up, boy.
You know what OC, Rush is often called to task for his "Talent on Loan From God" comment as mocking God. He is not. And the South Park creators have talked at length about the roll of Jesus on South Park. He has his own public access show because he has found that is the only way he can get his word out. Trey and Matt are making a point that Jesus shouldn't have to resort to public access.
The most remarkable head sculpts belong to the other bad guys in the film. Actually, said Trey, theyre not bad. Theyre just really really stupid and misguided. Theyre an organization of Hollywood liberals who are determined to stop Team America from interfering in the affairs of international politics. Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, and a permanently mustard-stained Michael Moore are just a few of the celebrities who are going to feel well and truly roasted when they see this film. Even seeing the heads without the films puppeteers bringing them to life, they are frighteningly accurate and bitingly funny.

South Park made fun of Osama and other terrorists in previous episodes. You have problems with that also? Or just with this film? Based on the clip, I am not sure if they are making fun of the war on terror, or just everyone involved (Kerry/Bush/other talking heads).
Gee ol' Bugs and Daffy made fun of the Germans and Japanese and they killed a whole lot more than 3,000 people. The US of A kind of liked the humor, sort of good for morale. What's different now other than some here lack a sense of humor.
Mark me down as an old punk for Bush.
Knee-jerk reactions are for knee jerkers.
I hope this comment is not pulled for ..."Insensitivity."
Crazy cracker! ;o)
These guys are very good at satire and if they take it to liberals like no one's business. They do it all the time on South Park. Gtreat show.
How can anyone wish financial destruction on the backers of a movie that has Michael Moore covered in mustard stains?
This movie is 100% liberal and anti-war idiot bashing. Period.
Were you this shocked when Bush was looking under the sofa for the Weapons of Mass Destruction?
ping.
South Park could do an entire episode on Old Cracker.
Remember 'getting gay with kids is here'?
Pulling out Baseketball and That's My Bush on a thread dissing Matt and Trey this early, kills the thread. It's their personal Godwin's Law.
Movie looks fantastic. No matter how hard they skewer Bush and Co., the skewering of the polidiotical Left, Moore, Sarandon, Baldwins, Babs etc., will destroy any youth swing vote momentum unduly influenced by the far left celebrity idiots. 2 weeks before the election. These two goofballs are kingmakers, in ways Moore-on could only dream.
Bush and Co. would do best rolling with the punches on this one.
I think someone else gets it. What I'm not sure is if the White House spokesman is being serious or being extremely clever.
Yes, that was more satire against the Left and the gay movement. Dude, I said "movement"...
I will put my conservative credentials up against yours anyday and come out the victor.
