Don't throw me in the briar patch see this movie.

I think someone else gets it.  What I'm not sure is if the White House spokesman is being serious or being extremely clever.

My guess is this story unfolded this way:

Reporters were mixing with some admin security-related officials today (or maybe yesterday) about the new terror alerts. At some point the discussions settled down into small talk, this movie came up, and the official, probably already running on little sleep and heavy adrenalin and high sensitivity, was ticked to hear there was a comedy comming out spoofing terrorism, without being fully informed about the creators' history and viewpoints. Reporter recognizes an opportunity to get a story out of nothing and milks it.

But I'd prefer to think that someone is simply placing some on-the-record distance from the film and then going to sit back and enjoy the wailing of the left.
