A new film set for release from PARAMOUNT has raised the pop culture threat levels at the White House -- a film which mocks the war on terror and media urgency using puppets, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"I really do not think terrorism is funny, and I would suggest PARAMOUNT give respect to those fighting and sacrificing to keep America safe," a senior Bush adviser told the DRUDGE REPORT this weekend.
The new fuss film TEAM AMERICA, set for release two weeks before the November presidential election, is entering post-production from with SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone
A deep voice using serious tones opens the film's teaser: "We live in a time of unparalleled danger. Weapons of Mass Destruction are being offered to terrorists all over the world. Global chaos is about to consume every country on Earth. And there is only one hope for humanity."
The senior Bush adviser, who asked not to be named, fumed after seeing the movie's official website and trailer.
"This is just unconscionable. Not funny. And I believe it makes fun of everyone in law enforcement... and in the armed services who work tirelessly to keep us safe from harm."
Marionette puppets are used throughout the film to mock terror threats, and media figures who dominate the nation's airwaves.

It may be brilliant satire to punks. It's trash to folks who've grown up.

I read an interview with them years ago and one is a libertarian, and the other is a Republican (I forget which is which), and I think they said both tend to vote for Republicans.

Like everything else that Liberals'll try and pull...this one'll backfire. Except Trey and Matt are not liberals. They are republicans. Even proudly proclaimed it while accepting an award from People for the American Way.

This junk is just going to backlash on the libs
No kidding. And if we're "hit" by terrorists between now and the election, these idiots won't dare release this garbage. I hope everyone who invested in this trash loses their life savings.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge this film. Have you seen the trailer? It runs through a list of Hollywood liberals who will be pissed when they see the movie. A re-occuring theme on South Park is liberal Hollywood telling all of us exactly how we should think and live our lives.
If anything it's gonna lampoon Arabs (and their Religion of blowing crap up... errrr Peace) and the leftists. Ignore Drudge, he's just trying to stir up trouble where there is none.

I bet Bush is in the high 50's after the convention.

I am so there. Our family used to go to the movies practically once per week. This year, we have seen 3 or 4 altogether, including The Village, which is a 1 star in our book. We refuse to put $$ in the pockets of liberal filth anymore. Period.

Well, OC, you might find it ot be filth, but the old stodgy, uptight, no fun, 3 piece suit conservatives are not the future of the republican party or conservatism. It is us younger people who actually have a sense of humor and enjoy ourselves.
South Park Republicans are a powerful force.

How to deal with whiney, attention greedy liberal Baby Boomers in Hollywood.... ((((( SPLAT ! ))))) Baby Boomer age bracket 39-57. Have at it.

When it comes to the Islamofascists bent on my destruction, I see nothing humorous. They rammed planes full of non-combatants into buildings and killed over 3000 people. Our people. I hate them, they are my enemy and I do not want to see them satirized. I want to see them dead.

I love South Park, but I predict this piece of trash will go down as well as their complete failures "That's My Bush" and "Baseketball". Regarding That's My Bush, if Gore had won, the show would have been about him. The contract for the show was done prior to the election and the format was going to be around whoever won. They personally wanted Bush to win, but wanted Gore to win because the show would be better.
Baseketball actually became a pretty big hit. Was a very high selling DVD and rental choice.

These South Park punks ... are punks and anyone who appreciates their brand of humor is a punk. It's punk humor for all the punks in the GenX crowd. Alas, too long for a tagline.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge this film. I think you responded to the wrong person. Matt & Trey are comedic masters, and they are experts at lampooning the Left...

I also like being entertained by right-leaning comedic geniuses, even in war time.

You understand incorrectly. They're neither Democrat nor Republican, and lean strongly Libertarian. Actually it is you that is incorrect. Or where they lying when they told The People For The American Way that they are republicans and support Pres. Bush while accepting an award?
They have libertarian leanings, but many of us conservatives do.

Southpark is brillant satire and mocks left-wing ideas and people non-stop. I don't know why you would call it filth. Because it uses language not heard on Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best.
