MTP - Tim is trying to attack Zell for his various stands.
Zell keeps turning the responses around and indicting John Kerry.
Zell keeps getting one-up on Tim's attempts to discredit Zell.

Wallace should turn Kerry's words about Vietnam against him, i.e., How do you tell the last man to die for a mistake? Is Iraq a mistake, Mr. Kerry.

Yep, this appears to be the new Kerry spin: Bush has been AWOL on domestic security for 3 years...

How is he allowed to lie like this unchallenged?
To: TomGuy
Zell says it's as if Kerry has been in a witness protection program for his 20 years in the Senate.

Kerry's too busy to work ... he's been working on his hair, hugging Pretty Boy, having photo-ops, and looking in the mirror.
To: Carolinamom
Edwards: "Americans want to know what we're gonna do for America."
Kerry: "I'm not going to tell you what I'm going to do until after I'm elected."

When Wallace asked him to be specific, Kerry said something like "I'm not going to go into details until after the election." God what a piece of work.
Other posts have indicated Kerry saying that before today, too.
That soundbite should top every news/talk tomorrow.
"I'm not going to go into details until after the election." would rank right up there with "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it."

Wasn't a Navy tour 10 months? I presume you are talking about Vietnam. A normal tour was 12 months in Vietnam, the Marines had 13 months. A normal tour of duty on a ship was two years. Tours vary depending on the duty station.

Uh oh. Nuance Boy is showing his stripes. Wallace asked him about saying "The President misled us on the reasong for going to war." Kerry said "No, Chris I never said that!" Wallace then showed him where he said it and Kerry responded "Yes, I said that, but you were referring to my speech. I never said that in my speech. I said 'I will never mislead you'".
Need a new photoshop for "Nuance Boy".

Why the heck doesn't Wallace ask Kerry what his "real plan" is?????
To: kabar
Thanks for the details - I was relying off of memories, and they aren't always correct.
My wife, on the other hand, has perfect memory...as she reminds me regularly!

Kerry is very dour this morning. This appearance won't help him. He cracks a smile whenever Edwards guffaws.
IMHO, they are both caricatures of themselves this morning.
