July 31, 2004 -- BOSTON Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton warned President Bush against evoking too many 9/11 images in his re-election campaign and the GOP convention in New York or Americans would reject him as an "exploiter." Clinton said that while Bush, as commander in chief, is entitled to bring up and talk about the 9/11 terror attacks, relying on it too heavily will invite criticism and ultimately backfire.
"It has to be done in a careful way or people will think he's exploiting it," said Clinton in an interview with The Post at the end of the Democratic convention.
"He is the president, so he has a right to bring it up, but if he's not careful, people will think he's exploiting it" for partisan advantage, said Clinton.

Neither one did anything of substance in their entire lives and they know it. They haven't even a nodding acquaintance with integrity and honor. You are soooo right.

FIRST OF ALL HILLARY....everything President George W. Bush does is tasteful, unlike you, you tasteless liar.
To: All
I yield to no one in my disdain for Hillary.
But for once, I am convinced that her advice is sincerely offered with the goal of advancing W's prospects.
If there is anyone who devoutly wishes Pres. Bush's re-election, it is Hillary Rodham Clinton.

oooohhhhhh I thank you for your valueless advice....now shut up

"It has to be done in a careful way or people will think he's exploiting it," said Clinton in an interview with The Post at the end of the Democratic convention. "He is the president, so he has a right to bring it up, but if he's not careful, people will think he's exploiting it" for partisan advantage, said Clinton. I corrected this. Adding back the actual words verbatim:
"You know, It has to be done in a careful way, you know or people, you know, will think, you know, he's exploiting it, you know" said Clinton in an interview with The Post at the end of the Democratic convention. "He is, you know, the president, you know, so he has a right, you know, to bring it up, you know, but if he's not careful, you know, people will think, you know, he's exploiting it, you know" for partisan advantage, you know, said Clinton.

She has a point about it possibly backfiring from over-exploitaition, but we all KNOW she'd rather Bush never say another blessed word on the subject, which ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.
Bush and Rove need to find the perfect balance and "SHOVE IT" up HER.......well, you know.

Why does she always have to yell?
Thats what stupid people, unable to get their argument across resort to.
If she was a little smarter she could have the sheeple eating out of her hand.
To: ambrose
Hillary knows what she's talking about here. Exploiting the Oklahoma bombing is exactly how her bulbous nosed husband got himself re-elected. Remember "Rush did it" ?
To: ambrose
Or is she now in the tank for Kerry, having been promised a Supreme Court appointment? You know, that'd not be a bad idea for BUSH after he wins...Nominate Hilly-Bob (though not Slick...after all, he lost his law license, and we can't have that), Bruce Lindsay, Lanny Davis, and a half dozen other liberals for the High Court, knowing that a simple GOP majority will keep them right where the are...Forevermore OFF the Court!
THEN, roll 'em through AN OBJECTIVE reaming of their PROFESSIONAL lives before batting them down "for good reason".
That should roast a few political careers, and Bush can (wink, wink) say "Hey, I gave 'em a shot. Tough luck and let's try it with the next guy."

My fellow Americans, wow, what a strange journey this nation has been on since our last convention. From the fiasco of Florida to the utter destruction of so many here in New York, all of us have been on an emotional roller coaster that is unparalleled in any portion of our history since the times of the civil war.
But today, I have good things to report to this convention: The nation which sponsored those despicable acts of terror against us is about to hold free, democratic elections. A nation that the mighty Soviet empire couldn't defeat fell apart within weeks of our entry into their country. We found and arrested many of those who felt that the best way to govern a country was to hold public executions in a stadium built for sports.
Of course, the anti-war folks out there have quietly forgotten this, charging that I have done nothing to fight this war on terrorism. In a way, they're right. I haven't done as much as the brave soldiers who are on the front lines today in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's the worst thing about being commander in chief; having to make tough decisions and see them through. Because your decisions affect the lives of brave young men and women. And when you make decisions, you have to stick with them.
Now, I gotta admit, I'm sort of confused by my opponents position. In the past, he has demanded foot soldiers be sent into Iraq. He even voted for this, and now he's trying to change his mind. Which is a bit par for the course; he didn't want to kick Iraq out of Kuwait either.
If he's so eager to report for duty, there's a seat begging for his attention in the United States senate, and it'd be rather nice if he got back to his job.
That's one of the things that always amazes me about these campaigns. How can you stand there and tell the American people what you want to do when you've been in power to put forward those ideas for a generation? If these ideas that they're tossing around are so good, how come I don't see them on my desk ready to be signed?
I take my job seriously, and I hope that all of you will join together and give a resounding vote of confidence in my continuing to perform that job for another four years. Sure, there have been some rough spots. I won't deny that. But I think I've done a pretty good job. The economy is recovering from the double hits of the dot com bust and the corporate scandals, not to mention, as I'm sure my opponent would like me to avoid saying, the brutal attack on our nation.
Jobs are being created despite the wishes of those who want to put back into place the heavy burden of taxes which I fought hard to get lifted. If you want to see those tax breaks go away, the fastest way is to elect someone else.
I could go on for nearly an hour, but it has been the habit of this party to not waste words. I promise to do as best as I can, as I have done, for the next four years, and to do that, you need to go out and vote for me come election day.
I'm George Walker Bush, and I'm not just now reporting for duty.

'If I had 5 minutes with President Bush either in person or on the phone, I would tell him to just ignore the rantings of Hillary Clinton and go forth, let the American people decide in November. I truly believe the American people feel safer with President Bush in the White House, rather than gambling at the thought of Kerry in the White House and wondering if he's as capable as Bush when it comes to preempting attacks. According to Kerry himself from his own acceptance speech, he'd rather sit on his hands and wait for us to be attacked, just for the sake of keeping America stronger and building alliances.'
Does anyone have a good e-mail to a connection to the RNC or KAREN HUGHES, where Freepers could make suggestions to the campaign staff for images/commercials?
If they want the female vote, all they need to do is show "interviews" of mother with their children who are very nervous about their family's safety...
It is all well and good to talk about creating jobs, etc., but we need to be ALIVE and have a place to to work ....

This is the same *bitch* who went on national TV and made up a story about Chelsea Hubble jogging around the towers with a grande latte -- and then Chelsea herself made up yet another easily debunked tale!
That was a slap in the face to every family who lost a loved one that morning. They undoubtedly wish that their loved ones were as far from the danger as Webb's kid was.
The Clintons are just awful, disgraceful creatures.
