She looks like her usual creepy self.
THAT WAS A RUDE COMMENT!!
How dare you go and insult hammers like that.
;^D
What was I thinking? ; )
From imdb.com
Personal quotes from Janeane Garolfolo:
"I guess I just prefer to see the dark side of things. The glass is always half-empty. And cracked. And I just cut my lip on it. And chipped a tooth."
"Many people feel that mass acceptance and smooth socialization are desirable life paths for a young adult... Many people are often wrong... Don't bother being nice. Being popular and well liked is not in your best interest. Let me be more clear; if you behave in a manner pleasing to most, then you are probably doing something wrong. The masses have never been arbiters of the sublime, and they often fail to recognize the truly great individual. Taking into account the public's regrettable lack of taste, it is incumbent upon you not to fit in." (From her book "Feel This Book," co-written with Ben Stiller)
After 9/11 disaster from article in Commentary magazine, November 2001: "Who would have thought that I'd be angry on behalf of my country? I'm used to being angry at my country."
"The world would be better off with multiple superpowers. When Communist USSR was a superpower, the world was better off."
"Our country is founded on a sham: our forefathers were slave-owning rich white guys who wanted it their way. So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.' That you can have a gay parade on Christopher Street in New York, with naked men and women on a float cheering, 'We're here, we're queer!' -- that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride."
"You know what is good about these Dixie Chicks burnings or bashings? It's a wonderful, wonderful way for really stupid people to hook up. They meet, they throw some things on the fire, they talk about Vin Diesel, they tell stories about who their favorite Fox anchor is, they exchange phone numbers and in some cases has led to marriages."
"A lot of the hate mail I get is clearly misogynist. I am a proud liberal, feminst woman, and the hate mail I get about those three things is not about me. It's about those signifers, and about what the right in this country has managed to do to perpetuate anger over what they mean."
"We're (women) our own worst enemies a lot of the time, but I still blame men."
I wish this forum had an edit button!!!!!!!!!!1
I haven't seen this level of vitriol from the Left or the Right for that matter. I have been following politics since JFK.
The Left has gone completetly around the bend
She has a fast moving brain and a mouth to match. I find her tiresome.
closed captioning?
You mean subtitles? Perhaps, but I tend to doubt it. Then again, I do not choose to pay extra to get that rancid channel on my digital cable.
Spoken like a true Bolshevik. The only thing that would make her happy would be the replacement of The Constitution and confiscation of all private property. Sick!
Interesting that at one point she identified herself as a "classical liberal", the kind of liberal who helped establish this country - were she as smart as she thinks she is, she would understand that that "brand" of liberalism is much closer to today's conservatism, with its emphasis on individualism and personal liberty. On the other hand, since early in the last century Marxism and socialism have attempted to make themselves acceptable by hiding terms such as "progresive" and "liberal", and it is this brand of liberalism, with its government intervention in the economic and cultural lives of its subjects that Garfo in fact follows today......
She is two months shy of 40 right now.
It's the liberal mentality. What you see is what you get. Garafalo has never concerned herself with her appearance...obviously.
Once again a liberal is operating from the Clinton playbook: if they say it, it is true. Believe that's the playbook used by Baghdad Bob as well.
Yes, "nuanced", as in "complicated" (sKerry's favorite word). Bush said yesterday that there's nothing complicated about war. We're going to bury these guys.
I wonder if he's just trying to people please to keep the libs coming on his show to pull in other libs. Or not.
Guys, this is PRIME TIME for the Kerry-maniacs out in Hollyweird. We want those left-leaners to get all the rope we can feed them and point 'em to the forrest to go hang themselves, because the more they do, the more likely Kerry gets hanged with 'em!
I was being sarcastic as I think the FCC regs only apply to programs produced in English and Spanish, but no, not subtitles - closed captioning is available on tvs made in last 10 years give or take. You have to change your settings - it's for those with hearing problems - Rush mentions it often as that's what he has to use.
It's like a transcript that scrolls along - pretty close to the original - you can leave your sound turned up and compare them.
They charge extra for AJ? I bet that's a major money maker!
Yes, I'm very familiar with closed-captioning. In the gym in my building, the TVs have no sound but the cc is always on and people can tune their Walkmen to certain stations to get the audio.
I imagine AJ gets lots of Arab and Muslim people who've moved here...But I doubt that poseurs like Garafalo can actually understand a damn thing that they're saying!
What a sweetheart.
