Paine was the son of Ruth Forbes Paine, who remarried Arthur Young, the inventor of the Bell helicopter used in Korea and Vietnam. Michael R. Paine and Ruth Forbes Paine Young were Forbes family heirs and as is Sen. Kerry, a coincidence since both he and the assassinated President bear the initials JFK.
