Nightline rerunning Kerry's "death watch" early campaign, when he was tied with Sharpton.
Cool. I was wondering when you'd zot the snot.
G'NITE
Hey, I think you are so wrong about our generation wanting to live forever. We are the generation taking care of our sick parents. We see the consequences of medicine keeping people alive. If it's one thing I know..,I DEFINITELY don't want to live any longer than I'm supposed to.
Moore is on Leno next
I'll pass
MSNBC. I think his groups are a joke because he does a piss poor job of finding true undecided voters.
The hate in the speech will not translate to a lasting bounce. The only positive he *might* have gained is that he showed his base that he can still be that extreme Leftist of the 'Nam era. Until now they have despised Kerry. Ludicrous as it may seem they believe he is a lite alternative to Bush.
I think what Kerry did tonight more than anything was shore up his base. Only that is the problem. To shore up his base he has to advance angry rhetoric that turns off the voters conventions are supposed to appeal too.
What happens when Kerry starts flipping toward the center again? Will his base remain energized or think this hate rhetoric was a fluke?
Tonight was one of negative passionate emotion. It may help him in the short term, it could be detrimental by the time the Republican convention begins.
I will have the whole (stolen) "speech" on DVD
Republican reaction on Fox coming up! And the 5000th post!
"To anyone who calls me a troll can kiss my Texas ass"
I think you're safe his home page says he's from wisconsin. you know the volunteer state.
We want to live until 120 Hildy, and hike in the High Sierras until 120, and achieve our final exit with a quick short heart attack, right up there next to the stars, undimmed, shining bright.
I have a feeling a lot of people are going to buy the steaming pile he was shoveling tonight.
Hiya, Tunehead!
You folks in Florida have all those butterfly ballots ready again?
hee hee.....
I didn't even have to look at his home page to figure out he wasn't REALLY from Texas.
We REAL Texans have a certain ability to sniff out the carpetbaggers.
"I have said, for almost a year now, that Hillary is NOT going to run this year, that there will be NO switch, and it's long past time for FR's tinfoilers to just shut up about this............finally."
OKAY! Tin Foil Hat Off. ;)
I think I just heard Dan Rather give the speech a "home run", but he's not sure if it's a tape-measure home run or an inside the park home run.
Isn't he the guy that gave Joe Wilson's book "5 stars"?
Campaign Carl Cameron of Fox said it best, "this was perfectly corregraphed.." (sp?). They were all actors tonight...hell, there should be OSCARS for this, or in Bunny's case, Purple Hearts.
