What a rambling pile. I heard his staff was concerned 'cuz he spent too much time writing it and not enough time practicing it. Not enough time with his speech coach, either.
He's not in sync with the audience He's going too fast, not letting the crowd react to his main points. Is he in a hury to go somewhere? Tah-Ray-zah....har.

Kerry is flat-out just not a good speaker. He's got that Mass elitism going.Yeah, I expect him to ask for the Grey Poupon any moment now.

I don't underestimate him at all. I think he is connecting, and he has a lot of charismatic people on his side like Barack Obama for instance.

For eight years, Clinton and Gore have extended our military commitments while depleting our military power. Rarely has so much been demanded of our armed
forces, and so little given to them in return. George W. Bush and I are going to change that, too.
I have seen our military at its finest, with the best equipment, the best training, and the best leadership. I'm proud of them.
I have had the responsibility for their well-being. And I can promise them now, help is on the way. Soon, our men and women in uniform will once again have a
commander-in-chief they can respect, one who understands their mission and restores their morale.
To: TomGuy
The only thing Kerry got out of September 11 was the unity of victimhood.
