WHERE WAS BUSH DURING VIETNAM?

Posted on 07/28/2004 11:41:53 AM PDT by sirwarlok069

BUSH: "The Missing Year" written by senior editor of GQ magazine Jason Gay.

This article appears in the August 2004 edition of GQ magazine, will put the end to the myth of Bush's National Guard Tour of Duty. After reading this article you will decide who the real hero is. Jason Gay did an eight month thorough background research to substantiate the material before publishing this article. Every one knows that GQ is so far to the left that it makes the leaning tower of Pisa appear straight.

Where was Hanoi John after he returned from his 1/3 of an incountry tour?
Committing sedition and treason while lying and backstabbing his Band of Brothers.

Yes it would have been better not to fight it. Here is why. Demonrats get us into wars they never intend to win. The politicians would not let our guys win, they just played who goes in the meat grinder today?

They would expend lives taking a bridge, a mountain, an area, then leave it unprotected, in a war where taking and holding territory was pretty darn important, at times our guys had to wait until the enemy was so many yards inside their perimeter before they could open fire, just like Somolia, and just like Afghanistan will turn into if demonrats are ever in charge of the WOT.

Unlike Iraq, where the citizens are ready to take over, there were not and never would be enough S. Vietnamese to take and hold areas against Chinese insurgents. Nixon, a Republican, was smart enough to know that and end the war. It was demonrat Clinton that ended us up in Bosnia on the wrong side of the thing.

I am not in anyway taking away from the brave military that risked and lost their lives in that fight. Their nobility, bravery, and courage stood in stark contrast to the scum sucking demonrats sitting in D.C. playing U.N. politics with their lives. No doubt Kerry will do his best to keep the tote board spining with the amount of soliders wounded, killed, or mia, just like the scum sucking demonrats before him, while he is busy puckering up to kiss the U.N.'s backside, while calling it diplomacy, the curr lap dog. Rant off.

Teddy was in the Army in Europe during the Korean War. A tour in Europe then was like a tour in the Guard in the '70's so I guess Teddy is a DRAFT dodger.

Did so after I skipped to the 10th page and found really nothing of interest and then weird talk about undercover operations and stuff....it seemed weird to me so I didn't even bother to read anymore.

Pretty awful satire.

According to this, Edwards would have turned 18 in 1971, while fighting was still going on over in Nam. He had plenty of time to "do his duty".

Junior High School.

...making Edwards 21 when he entered High School.

Maybe he's not so smart after all.
