XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUN JULY 25, 2004 23:33:04 ET XXXXX

TERESA TELLS REPORTER TO 'SHOVE IT'

Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Democratic nominee John Kerry, told a reporter to 'shove it' on Sunday evening -- immediately after giving a speech calling for a more civil tone in politics.

Speaking to the Pennsylvanian delegation at the statehouse in Boston, Heinz Kerry delivered an impassioned plea against hate politics:

"We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics."

"I remember a time when people in political parties in Pennsylvania talked to one another and actually got things done. We have to go back to those days when we can do things properly, for the people need it."

"My prayers for you, for me, for the country, for the world, are that we keep this at a high level, with dignity, with respect and with a great idealism and courage that took our forefathers to build this great nation."

According to multiple sources who attended the event, Heinz Kerry upon finishing the speech pushed her way through the Secret Service to get to Pittsburgh Tribune Review reporter, Colin McNickle. Upon getting to Mcnickle, Heinz Kerry asks, 'Are you from the Tribune Review' Mcnickle says, 'Yes, I am.'

At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry says, 'Of course, understandable. You said something I didnt say. Now Shove it!'

Tape of the incident is being edited to air on Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV, and, according to a media source, ABC NEWS is set to run with it thereafter.

A witness of the incident said reporters were "stunned" by Heinz Kerry's outburst, especially in light of the speech she had just given.

The difference being that Cheney said what he did in PFRIVATE,had been goaded and vilified, and TERRY KERRY said it in PUBLIC,after talking about "CIVILITY"!

The other difference is that Cheney isn't expected to be ladylike. :o)

She's a wierd wench. Rich and insulated for far too long. Was it 2 months ago she said she wants to be a dog? And a few weeks ago she was talking to a bunch of women and said "There's so many of you, we need birth control". Keep an eye on her, but don't get too close.

What is it about this Kerry couple? She says 'shove it' when she is asked a fair question, he says 'it's none of your business' when he is asked a fair question? I am supposed to feel comfortable with these two leading the country????

I am glad that she said that to one of her slaves.

It is only peons, pesants, Christians, and Republicans that are not civil.

According to them,it is the main stream media, democrats, socialists, and communists that are civil.

On the bright side:

More and more Patroits are starting to stand on their own hind legs.

And a dream: The communists, socialists, and democrats, from what I have heard, have stated that if this election does not turn out like they want, they will take to the streets. The cos cannot be everywhere so that means that there will be some without the cops to protect them. A mistake they probably make again.

Haha! I love the last bit with her spokesperson. "She was frustrated with this right-wing rag that has consistently blah blah blah." Doesn't that go directly against the entire point of her little "civility in politics" speech? Priceless!

They can't help themselves. McAuliffe was just on F&F, and he said that they're "going positive" in this convention. They're not going to bash Bush. Then he said that, after all, people already know that everything about Bush is negative so we don't have to come out and say so.

They simply cannot help themselves. I can't wait to see what the 'rats consider "not going negative" over the next few days.

"If it weren't for the press shamelessly cheerleading for Kerry and going all out to destroy George Bush, the President would probably be up 20 points in the polls."

You absolutely correct.

Every pic I've seen of Kerry trying to kiss Theresa, she's either cringing, or pushing him away, or looking trapped.

I guess when you are that rich for that long you soon forget reality because no one around you dares to remind you that you are talking thru your hat.

I just saw the video. Nutty Heinz came off even WORSE than I imagined. It wasn't so much that she told the reporter to "shove it!" Previous to that she kept psychotically repeating over and over again "I didn't say that!" about her saying that the opposition was acting "Unamerican" even though it was on tape. Then she SHOVED her way throught the Secret Service to tell that reporter to "SHOVE IT!"

So now the Deomcrat convention kicks off to the news of Nutty Heinz going berserk. Beautiful! And it's only going to get worse as the campaign continues.

This is the Lurch campaign's "Yeaaargh!!" moment.

I sure hope so. After eight years of the Hildebeaste throwing fits (and lamps) in the White House, do we really need another bitch-on-Prozac as First Lady?

Isn't that the truth! Very telling.

Teresa Heinz is a real drag on the Kerry campaign. Comparisons will be made between her and Laura Bush. Teresa would be the second foreign born first lady since Louisa Adams (JQAdams wife) who was the daughter of an American father and English mother and was born in London. Teresa would be the first foreign born first lady of non-American parents. Her outspokenness and European perspective on America will become more self-evident as the campaign proceeds

While it may seem inconsequential, Teresa will have a negative impact, even it is subliminal. Her haughty, arrogant manner tinged with an accent will not play well in Peoria.

No wonder he needed Sandy Berger as his advisor. With socks like that, Kerry couldn't get enough papers out by himself, that's for sure.

This is what Bush and company have been waiting for. When it is "game time" Kerry will implode. The Democrats know he is an awful candidate and are holding their breath.

Everyone is starting to pay attention to the Presidential election and look what is happening. Terezzzzzzza loses it, Kerry gets booed and throws a ball in the dirt, Berger gets, caught, etc.

What is happening to the Bush campaign? They are just sitting back and seeing the Democrats implode. It will be interesting to see how the convention turns out. It will either be a snorefest or some radical leftist Dem will say something that the Dems will be known for: hate Bush.
