The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Group linked to al Qaeda warns of 'columns of car bombs'

Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq.

Yup. They've beheaded 14 year old schoolboys and a young woman on her wedding night in front of her and her future inlaws. These stories and others from the year of beheadings and decaptitations 2002 are bookmarked on my profile page.

Not to mention the headnappings of beheaded people whose heads were then paraded around, glorified and exulted in by the adherents in jihadi mosques all over Pakistan.

Indian soldiers have been returned to India after torture and mutilation - their eyes gouged out (so they cannot look upon the face of god in the afterlife) their penises cut and stuffed into their mouths (don't know the rationale there) and allah in arabic carved on their chests.

And we have no clue about the technicalities of the atrocities recently committed in Darfur Sudan.

A 22 YEAR old Bulgarian man from Plovdiv has been arrested for sending threatening emails to top officials.
S Dimitar claimed he was writing the emails on the behalf of a terror group called "Islam al Iraq" and vowed that the Bulgarian officials will "face the consequences of their actions".(snip)

WASHINGTON – They're sealing the manhole covers near Boston's Fleet Center, the site of next week's Democratic National Convention.

They're also removing trash bins and newspaper boxes from nearby sidewalks to thwart any would-be bombers trying to hide explosives.

Apparently this has happened in the distant past.:

A manhole cover turned into a missile and killed one person after a subterranean explosion in Chicago in 1937.

Powerful Bomb Explodes In Volusia County Park

HOLLY HILL, Fla. -- A powerful bomb exploded in a Holly Hill park. Now investigators are on the scene to try to figure out what the bomb was made of and who set it off.

The bomb was in a trashcan there. Investigators say, this was no ordinary pipe bomb.

"This is not a chemical bomb that some kids did. This is a major explosion," an investigator told Channel 9.
