Yup, I read/watch as much of their drivel as I can take. When asked why I do that my reply is that I want to stay informed as to what the enemy is saying. The convention was too much for me though.
I dont have the source handly but will put it togther later...Obama speaking to the Jews
Mikva said, Ive seen him speak on Israel in front of a Jewish audience-a very, very tough crowd. And he was incredibly thoughtful, saying, basically, There are a lot of people in that area, with lots of different interests and points of view, and they all have to be taken into consideration, and we cant just rally around Sharon, and so on. And the crowd was just wowed. Ive fluffed that question so many times myself-and Im Jewish. Kerry fluffed it on Meet the Press the other day. But Barack managed to make those people who disagreed with him feel comfortable with the disagreement.
Would that be the same Homeland Security that hasn't provided the average joe in this country information concerning what they need to stock up on and what to do in case of attack? That Homeland Security? Oh, that's right, it's up to the individual states to tell us......don't think I got anything in my snail mail.......? Perhaps one day they'll treat us like individuals (individuals whose lives depend on having the proper supplies and information). Now about those "dry runs," they probably want us to check with the surgeon general.
Good grief dw. Any more info from incidentpage (I don't have an account there)? Thanks for the heads up.
There were parts of the convention that were hilarious.
The only real "plank" issue that was mentioned was embryonic stem cell research. Everything else was pretty much rhetoric, reliving the "glory" days, or bashing.
They have no platform.
LOL!
Where does the line for that start?
I'll settle for a good M40. I'm not picky about freebies or gimmes.
:)
Sadly, no it doesn't seem ludicrous.
Hooray for them proving how easy it is to bring a suitcase nuke into our country. Time to take the threat seriously INS, Homeland Security and alphabets. Our gradeschool teachers said it best: Pay attention!!! They need to read and re-read this article until they understand the implications of it.
I know just what you mean. MamaDearest was already taken at Yahoo for example.

Good suggestion Snowy. We always carry at least one of those little disposable cameras in each of our vehicles in case of 1) seeing something cool, 2) accident photos, or 3) anything unusual such as you are suggesting. For $4.99 it offers lots of benefits.
Wow, I'm cheering for the Florida lottery now! (Thanks)
Prayer Bump!
Prayers continuously for your husband Knak, and for you. Please keep us posted.

CITY OF DALLAS ENGINEERS BROTHER A TOP HAMAS LEADER, DRAWS SPECIAL FBI SURVEILLANCE AND SCRUTINY.
By Robert Riggs and Todd Bensman
The federal government's roundup Tuesday of seven Middle Eastern men on charges of funding the terrorist group Hamas yielded an unexpected disclosure: a link between Dallas City Hall and Hamas top leader in Israels occupied territories.
North Texas resident Mufid Abdulquader is a city of Dallas engineer who was among the men charged Tuesday in a 42-count indictment for allegedly using the Richardson-based Holy Land Foundation to funnel millions of dollars to Hamas terrorist operations. But Abdulquader, a Palestinian and naturalized U.S. citizen, has a connection to Hamas shared by none of the others.

Since I went to Mass every school day and on Saturday's (catechism) and Sundays, Latin (mass) the occasional Latin word pops up in my mind. To keep it there I bought the "Chant" CD. Reminds me of less hectic days and the spirituality needed in these times of our judges attempting to remove Christianity from our public buildings and lives.
I take it that's a NO then.
