The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Excellent summation. Thanks for the ping. IMHO the conclusion that since the threat against Italy has been made several times, they have to be struck and soon or the AQ lose major face on a global basis.
It is possible that the delay in striking us is part of an overall international strike plan that is so ambitious so as to make 911 look like child's play. Given that, and remembering that 911 was itself postponed until all assets were fully ready, then the delays seem all the more ominous. Look at the "sudden" (??) flood of possible AQ across the southern border. So much so that Homeland Security has issued specific state level directives and memos. Likely these are reinforcements, not folks who have to be prepositioned. That's already been done. JM, HipShot and I already hashed that out.
IMHO, whatever is going to happen globally will have a medium sized "trigger" likely starting in Italy and rolling forward to a cresendo right around the time of the GOP convention. There will be, again, IMHO a "lead-up;" a main force attack or series of such using aircraft or WMD and once we are reeling a long series or follow-on attacks using low-tech truck or suicide bombs and mall shootings and the like. IF they have enough trained folks to initiate large scale military warfare on our home soil, this is where it will happen.
You now, looking at what I have written, it just seems so incongruous and ludicrous. My next impulse is to climb on top of my roof and scream to the heavens and the world: NAAAAAAAH IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN! We're safe and secure and the most powerful nation on the planet!
On September 10th, 2001 I would have been correct. I dunno folks, now I sorta feel like HipShot did a few days ago.

From what I taught years back, the Modified Weaver is used in close quarter situations like house raids, etc. The military uses it too, but it is far more widespread in law enforcement than it is in the military.

BTW, Mother's sister and son etc. are in TENN, I forget where . . . 40 miles outside of Nashville. He's a musical recording engineer.
They have their redeeming social value. But Dear old Aunty is the sort one is glad she has to breathe amidst the constant stream of words.

I love it. The HK-USA site is down right now, but they had footage for every aspect of use. The 203/320 site is side mounted on the launcher, so it's ranged from weapon to weapon. One handed full auto 100rd clips. Total immersion and firing, firing while pouring silt on it.
It's amazing. The barrel is user changeable, and good for 20k rounds.
The gas system NEVER needs to be cleaned. The targeting system runs off of an AAA battery. Laser, NV, 4x.
