The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

ampered Baby Food in Orange County Contained Ricin, Police Say

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) 7.28.04, 12:55p -- The FBI says trace amounts of the poison ricin have been found in at least one jar of baby food that was tampered with last month.

The FBI and the Irvine Police Department are investigating the suspected food tampering and no arrests have been made.

Authorities have not disclosed the amount of ricin discovered, the number of baby food jars that contained the deadly poison or any possible motive. (Further details are expected to be released at a 3 pm news conference.)

On June 16th, a man called police in Irvine to report he found a note inside a jar of baby food warning that the container had been contaminated.

A similar case was reported by an Irvine couple on May 31st involving the same baby food, Gerber Banana Yogurt. Neither baby became ill.

Tractor-Trailer, Caustic Chemicals Stolen (Miami, FL)

POSTED: 9:30 pm EDT July 27, 2004 UPDATED: 9:35 pm EDT July 27, 2004 MIAMI -- Miami-Dade police say a tractor-trailer truck loaded with caustic chemicals and corrosive liquids was stolen from the side of the Florida Turnpike.

Police said the driver unhitched the trailer from his truck while delivering another trailer to Pembroke Pines. The unhitched trailer was gone by the time he returned. The manifest of the trailer indicated it was filled with about 1,000 pounds of chemicals, police said.

They do not know who took the trailer, though Detective Robert Williams said the thief likely did not know what was inside. Williams says he doesn't believe the chemicals could be made into a bomb. Link to Article

I saw it on a documentary here in U.K. Can't remember which channel as there have been so many. It basically said that they were planning for earlier in the summer as the 9/11 report said, but there were delays with visas and that kind of thing. I remember being suprised that Bin Laden only had 10 days notice. The documentary also said that whenever the date was discussed in communications, it was referred to as the "Porsche delivery" (as in Porsche 911).
