What is the name of the ship, (correct spelling please) I can't find it.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
If the ship is heading into a U.S. port, it will be searched!

It's called the "S.S. Turkish Philly Bomb Surprise." Guess what gave it away.

Thanks for posting this story. My best bet, the feds had suspicions about the boat. When the US Master/Pilot got on board he demanded a search. The Boat's captain refused, so the Coast Guard took the ship out to sea.

"News flash: Authorities are now saying that if anything suspicious is found on the ship, it has no possible connection to terrorism."Wait that press release was just swiped by Sandy Berger and stuffed in his pockets.

Ships master notified authorities that a bomb was on board. Not to worry. Probably just a shipment of Gigli DVDs. Or The Complete Kevin Costner Collection.
To: johnfrink
Ship Master is a civilian ship captain. Captain is a military captain of the ship.

Bret on FoxNewsjust said that the captain says he was joking earlier.
Someone tell the captain that this is not the way to get a cheesesteak.
To: magnumsgirl
Why was it allowed to get so close?Good question....I've no idea why!
To: savedbygrace
FNC reports that the Captain now says that he was just kidding about a bomb being on board, because he was angered because they were searching his ship in port. (You guys sure make fun of a potential serious situation).
To: nwctwx
Perhaps this is one of those mysterious "three ships" that were being watched ever so closely, doncha know, in the days preceding the Iraq war. They were supposed to have all the WMDs on them - remember? Maybe now they're haunted and doomed to sail the earth for all eternity, revealing their mysterious cargo to none but - GASP! - the dead.
Or maybe this is more serious than those phantom vessels.

Just heard on the news, captain says he was joking. What an idiot!
To: nwctwx
Wild guess:
Muslims have a very hard time getting hold of explosives and bomb materials in the USA because they stick out. This ship is carrying C4, dynamite, detonators, bomb making materials for Jihadists on US soil. In a shipping container.

Looks like you nailed it, John!
Captain says "it was just a joke"...

There's a .45 caliber answer to that problem. There's also a 5 inch solution to that problem.

How about a MK46 Mod 5 solution?
To: Cold Heart
