I tend to think it would be more conventional - large explosive devices in SUVs, vans or delivery trucks. Destroy the infrastructure (and the economy) by hitting train stations, tunnels, ferries -- all exits out.

Odds are very good that they are just messing with your mind.

That being said have you considered relocating? The City cannot effectively be evacuated. No transportation system can move those shear numbers in a reasonable time frame, there is simply no place to put so many people, nor a way to keep them sheltered, fed and watered. No real emergency services, jobs, etc.

There is plenty of room for millions of individuals to spread across the country in an leisurely orderly and safe manner, before TSHTF

Kudos to you; you are doing the right thing. I wish more parents and individuals would be as responsible and prepared. But if they don't hear any concern over it on the evening news, then it isn't a factor and they will not do it. And although Homeland Security and other Feds have tried to get us all to prepare, most folks including the media simply laugh at them.

I also fault our local governments for totally dropping the ball. Yeah, they have drilled, etc., but they could put an announcement in tax bills, i.e., for people to prepare and list general items and quantities they should have on hand for any type of emergency. I feel it is incumbent on local governments to do more as far as awareness. And it would not cost more money; it can be piggybacked on existing activities, mailings and programs.

We are more prepared here on TM and on other discussion boards than most people probably.

Update on missing plane in Australia

Stolen plane crashes, pilot alive

July 22, 2004

A PLANE stolen from a southern Queensland airfield has been found crash landed on a nearby property with the pilot alive, but injured.

A 32-year-old man was found near the plane with a broken leg.

Ben Mitchell, a spokesman for search co-ordinators the Australian Search and Rescue Service (AusSAR), said the plane crashed about 2.5km south-west of the St George aerodrome shortly after taking off.

He said the plane was destroyed.

Mr Mitchell said the man had been taken to St George Hospital for treatment.

He said earlier the plane had been stolen about 1.30am yesterday but was not reported missing until 9pm.

As you say...It could be part of a go signal....We should also keep in mind that if OBL wants to get into this country to die in the belly of the eagle then....We won't be looking so hard for a dead man.
