HOMELAND INSECURITY
Backup electrical systems failed to kick in
A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained six days later.
Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

More power to your determination to see as long as possible.
But, that is part of my concern.
In addition to not wanting you--a major TM trooper!--to be unnecessarily stressed, eye-wise;
I don't want that stress to lessen the life left in your eyes. I don't know enough about such things to say in your case--but eye strain is not always helpful in prolonging vision, if my sense is right.
I'd just rather that you have the option of giving them a fitting amount of rest if there's any chance that would prolong their useful years--and still FREEP and research in the process!
It's clear you're far ahead of me...just wondering if it means something like "Attacks in 42000? or something along those lines?
PG&E puzzled over location of some nuclear fuel
Pacific Gas & Electric Co. said it's trying to determine where a "small amount" of used nuclear fuel might be from its nuclear power plant near Eureka. It thinks it could be just a paperwork problem.

An Al Qaida-affiliated Internet site is cautioning Muslims to avoid being near planned targets of the terrorist group. The Al-Battar Camp online magazine, stated in a June 29 posting that the measure was for Muslims' safety.
By providing the warning, the group is revealing its plans for attacks against "Christian companies, airlines and oil companies," according to a translation of the report.
The report, "A Warning to Muslims With Regard to Getting Close to Infidels and Oppressors," was written by Sheikh Amir Ibn-Abdullah al-Amir. It advises Muslims, "If you are working with our infidel enemies, beware. . . .
Al Qaida has already warned and explained that it will be targeting these companies, especially the airlines, the oil companies and others run by the Christians."
Yup, they can commit crimes here and STAY. Isn't it reassuring how our immigration laws protect those abusing our laws?
Fascinating.
God is certainly drawing the battle lines vividly, it seems.
5-10 years ago, at least a person or 3 had dreams/visions about how there would come a time when organizations, companies, stores etc. would not survive without at least a token Christian invovled, working there. I think the impression was that this condition would exist for a few years or some such.
I felt at the time and still feel that there will likely come some version of that day. I've just never known when or how close to utter persecution of Christians it would come. Evidently things are being squeezed tightly together at the end, which is rather Biblical, too.
Here the satanic religion Islam is targeting Jews and Christians. God Almighty has a different perspective. He targets them for blessings and even their trials and tribulations work out to their good.
Interesting era, for sure.
Thank you for the link. I pray that the reports are wrong.
I've been reading the book of Jubilee's lately.
History lesson:
Its a Biblical book in the old Jewish pseudopigraphic heritage, authored in the Maccabean era, between 100-200 BC.
It wasnt accepted as canon scripture because it was too "Jewish" to fit the Council of Nicea's criteria. The author was a Jewish Rabbi in the Hellenistic age, and probably Phariseac in his beliefs. It is one of the books found in the Essene Dead Sea Scrolls, and it was widely read in the ancient world.
Its a narrative of Moses experience on Mt Sinai that follows the oral tradition of Judaism.
My Point:
(I'm paraphrasing here) (Jubilees, chapter 1)
In one conversation with God, Moses asks God not to forsake the children of Israel because they are disobedient and prone to sin, arrogance and pride.
God replies that he wont forsake them, but he will let them go until they learn they cannot govern themselves, and they realize God is the only one capable of ruling in absolute justice and righteousness. At that point, God will hearken to them and save them after they repent of their sins and the sins of their fathers.
Makes sense in todays world, doesnt it?
PG&E? The very same that Erin Brockovich and Ed Masry made mincemeat of?
thanx, Granny!
